Clinical Comparative Study Of Fracture Treatment PVP And PKP Thoracolumbar Osteoporotic Vertebral Compression Quality

Objective: Percutaneous vertebroplasty(Percutaneous Vertebroplasty, PVP) and percutaneous kyphoplasty(Percutaneous Kyphoplasty, PKP) are the two main methods of treatment of osteoporotic vertebral fractures(OsteoporoticVertebral Compressive Fractures, OVCFs), and Both technologies as a means to carry out minimally invasive surgical treatment for decades, after a lot of basic and clinical research. Currently on the clinical efficacy of its mixed paper through a comparative study of both the clinical effectiveness and feasibility of treatment, further guidance clinic. Methods: This study selected in July 2013-2014 July in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Chinese Medicine Hospital inpatient spine two 60 cases of thoracolumbar vertebral compression fracture patients alone, the use of percutaneous vertebroplasty(PVP) and vertebral balloon body kyphoplasty(PKP) treatment, 30 patients were treated with PVP treatment, patients with PKP treated 30 cases. Before the occurrence of the use of statistical software to compare the surgery, VAS score, and middle vertebral height restoration, Cobb angle correction and postoperative complications such as bone cement leakage. Results: The postoperative pain compared with preoperative been significantly eased, vertebral, before the middle height, and restore vertebral kyphosis compared with surgery, and no significant difference(P>0.05) between efficacy, PKP PVP has only a relatively low rate of bone cement leakage. Conclusion:(1) the main difference between the two is that the effect of the level of cement leakage rate, using PKP patients treated with bone cement leakage rate was significantly lower than the PVP treatment group decreased bone cement leakage caused other serious concurrency the risk of disease.(2) PKP group PVP group needs more time and cost compared to surgery. Combined with China’s large population, economic and social development conditions in the primary stage of socialism, PVP as an effective and relatively inexpensive way of minimally invasive surgery is still worth promoting.
