There are still more than two hundred patients. After clinical use for a long time to observe, valproate endocrine system can affect people with epilepsy.It Can appear fat, hairy, acne, hair loss and other symptoms. Female patients can also appear menstrual disorders, polycystic ovary syndrome (polycystic ovaryian syndrome PCOS), polycystic ovary (polycystic ovary PCO), high testosterone levels, and insulin resistance and related symptoms, male patients can appear the symptom such as decreased libido and sexual function. Long-term antiepileptic drugs to patients on reproductive endocrine, the influence of thyroid hormone, brought to the attention of the clinicians and most scholars, especially more attention to the influence of children with epilepsy. They take a variety of antiepileptic drugs curative effect is still poor;4 Their research object lack of randomness. In the past, most scholars of valproic acid sodium (Valproate acid, VPA) and carbamazepine (CBZ) in the study of adult sex hormone levels is more. But they have valproic acid magnesium zyban study of sex hormone levels in children with epilepsy is less,.Their research on the influence of thyroid hormone is more limited.ObjectiveWe select new diagnosed with epilepsy is not antiepileptic therapy for a 1 year observation of patients. We analyze sick person in their medication before and after treatment and sex hormone levels in different age and the level of thyroid hormone. We select effective, small side effects of antiepileptic drugs, for the early stage of the youth, adolescent female children with epilepsy. We provide scientific theory basis and ultimately to improve women’s quality of life of children with epilepsy to provide scientific theory basis.MethodsWe obtained the consent of the family and patient and select standard experimental group,74 cases of female epileptic children, started taking zyban valproic acid magnesium, they were first diagnosed with epilepsy in January 2013 to December 2014 in henan province people’s hospital pediatric neurology epilepsy diagnosis and treatment center. When they were in before taking the medicine and 1 months,6 months,12 months,we test their mature Follicle stimulating hormone (Follicle-stimulating hormone, FSH), Luteinizing hormone, Luteinizing hormone, LH), Prolactin (Prolactin, PRL),Testosterone(Testosterone,T),Estradiol(Estradiol,E2)and Progesterone (Progestero-ne,P), Dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate (Dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate, DHEA) and three iodine armour gland original glycine (Totle triiodothyronine, T3), thyroxine (Totle tetraiodothyronine, T4), three Free iodine armour gland original glycine (Free triiodothyronine, FT3) and Free thyroxine (Free tetraiodothyronine, FT4), Thyroid stimulating hormone (Thyroid stimulating hormone, TSH), and the reproductive system, Thyroid ultrasound.Results1.74 cases of children with epilepsy of the girls taking valproic acid magnesium before and after treatment the change of sex hormone levels. Their serum testosterone levels the persistent rise, P< 0.05; Estradiol levels in continuous decline, P< 0.05; PRL in evident fall in six months, but they compared with before medication, P> 0.05, no statistical significance; LH, FSH, DHEA has no obvious change, P> 0.05, no statistical significance.2.74 cases of children with epilepsy of the girls taking valproic acid magnesium before and after treatment with thyroid hormone levels after thyroxine, total three iodine thyroid original ammonia and free thyroxine and free three iodine thyroid original glycine and testing for thyroid-stimulating hormone levels have no obvious change, P> 0.05, it is no statistical significance.3. We detect epilepsy children of different ages, after the medicine before taking the medicine, thyroxine, total three iodine thyroid original ammonia and free thyroxine and free iodine thyroid original glycine and thyroid-stimulating hormone levels have no obvious change,P> 0.05, it is no statistical significance.4. We study different age groups of children with epilepsy, after the medicine before taking the medicine, the change of sex hormone. We found that the girls over the age of 10 children with epilepsy, their serum LH level have the persistent rise, there were significant differences,P<0.05, it has statistical significance; Patients of estradiol levels increased significantly in their 6 months and 12 months after taking the medicine, P<0.05, it has statistical significance; Over the age of 10 FSH, DHEA levels in children; After 12 months, taking the drugs PRL increased obviously in children under the age of 10, more than 10 years old children in PRL. After 12 months, taking the drugs with the body Prog level are lower; After 12 months, taking the drugs with T levels were elevated in the body.Conclusions:1. When patients take medicine after, estradiol (E2), prolactin (PRL), a significant reduction in the level of progesterone (P);But high testosterone (T) is rising continuously.2. The patient’s serum TSH, T3, T4, FT4, FT3 level there was no significant difference in their after taking the medicine.3. Different age groups of children with epilepsy medication after their serum TSH, T3, T4, FT4, FT3 level was no significant difference.4. We offer different age groups of children with epilepsy medication,We found that they change of sex hormone levels may be associated with age when they after taking the medicine. Their sex hormone levels with the growth of the age become more and more. |
