Objective: To determine the relationship between soluble E Selectin(sES)、insulin and coronary artery expansion(CAE).Mathods: Patients with chest pain or chest distress in the cardiovascular department or their electrocardiogram and treadmill exercise showed sign of myocardial ischemia were selected as research object, they were examined by coronary angiography(CAG). Patients wre divided into CAE group(n=40) and normal group(n=40) by the results of CAG. Clinical data such as name、gender、age、biochemical index and complications were recorded detailedly. The serum s ES and insulin were examined by ELISA.Results: No statistical differences of clinical data were found between CAE group and normal group. The type of CAE lesion is mainly type1, and it mainly exists in Multi-vessel, especially the right coronary artery. The sES levels of CAE group(13.41±1.05mg/L) were higher than normal group(10.83±0.59mg/L). The insulin levels of CAE group(27.05±2.12mg/L) were higher than normal group(9.68±0.71mg/L). there wre significant differences. The results were consistent with severity of the disease. The Pearson analysis showed that serum sES levels and insulin were positive correlation. Conclusions: sES, Insulin and CAE’s occurrence and progression has close relationship.
