Traditional Chinese Medicine Combined Laser Photocoagulation Treatment For Diabetic Retinopathy Clinical Observation

Purpose:Observe the traditional Chinese medicine combined retinal photocoagulation in treatment of diabetic retinopathy(4-5)clinical curative effect.Method:This research selected cases in June 2013 to January 2015 in changchun university of Chinese medicine affiliated hospital outpatient and inpatient of ophthalmology,the endocrinology doctors and eye doctor diagnosed as T2 DM, diabetic retinopathy 4- patients with stage5,effective cases of 57 cases(74 eyes),including 17 patients eyes meet the inclusion criteria, 40 patients were monocular for conditions.According to simple random allocation methods of the whole experiment process,the treatment group 29 cases(38 eyes, the eyes in 9 cases),15 eyes phase,23 eyes, macular edema,19 eyes, application of traditional Chinese medicine(fill five soup, Yang also gas pill and subtract) with retinal photocoagulation treatment,laser surgery on the first day to start taking Chinese traditional medicine medicinal broth(fill Yang also five soup and gas pill and subtract)15,for a period of treatment,taking four consecutive treatment; Control group 28 cases(36 eyes,eyes case 8 cases),14 eyes phase, 22 eyes, macular edema in 18 eyes,laser therapy alone,observe two groups of clinical effectiveness.Selected patients to conduct a comprehensive eye exam,observe two groups before and after treatment in patients with visual acuity and fundus changes and changes of the fundus angiography results,analysis the effect of two groups of treatment,and make the corresponding conclusion.Results:1)Improve vision after 2 months treatment group total effectiveness is 81.57%, control group total effective rate is 55.6%; Compared two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05).(2) 2 months after the treatment group of retinal hemorrhage and exudation, microaneurysm absorption efficiency is 92.1%, the control effectiveness is 75%,compared two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05);(3) months after the treatment group 2 macular edema, effectiveness is 94.7%, the control effectiveness is 77.8%, compared two groups was statistically significant(P <005).Conclusion: Compared with the pure laser treatment,combination therapy can improve the patients’ visual function, better reduce retinal damage,promote absorption and macular edema of new blood vessels to subsid.
