The Clinical Efficacy Study Of Bu Yang Huan Wu Decoction Treating Acute Ischemic Stroke

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Bu Yang Huan Wu Decoction treating acute ischemic stroke(cerebral infarction), to investigate the effect of Bu Yang Huan Wu Decoction on the prognosis of acute ischemic stroke patients.Methods: 60 cases of acute ischemic stroke patients from the emergency department of our hospital were randomly divided into two groups, 30 cases in the control group and 30 cases in the treatment group. The control group was given oxygen inhalation, dehydration buck, control of temperature, blood pressure, blood glucose, anti platelet aggregation, the maintenance of electrolyte and acid-base balance and other treatment of Western medicine, and combining with the traditional acupuncture treatment and appropriating for patients with limbs and language function training of early rehabilitation treatment. The experimental group based on the control group, plus Bu Yang Huan Wu Decoction to Huoxue Huayu Tongluo. Two groups were treated for 20 days. Before and after treatment in the two groups, the changes of scores of motor function of the limbs(FMA), activities of daily living(MBI) scores, neurological deficits(NIHSS) scores, TCM syndrome scores, blood rheology(Hemorheology HR) and the levels of serum homocysteine(Hcy) were compared, to observe the clinical curative effect of Bu Yang Huan Wu Decoction treating the acute ischemic stroke.Results:(1) In the limb motor function scores(FMA), the scores of the two groups after treatment between the two groups, were statistical significance(F=0.260, P<0.05), suggesting that the results of the effect of the experimental group was significantly better than the control group.(2) On the activities of daily living(MBI) scores, the scores of the two groups after treatment between the two groups, were statistical significance(F=1.917, P=0.000), suggesting that the results of the effect of the experimental group was significantly better than the control group.(3) On neurological deficits(NIHSS) scores, the scores of the two groups after treatment between the two groups, were statistical significance(F=0.563, P<0.05), suggesting that the Bu Yang Huan Wu Decoction in improving nerve function defect was better than the control group.(4) After treatment, in the aspects of TCM syndrome scores, the total efficiency of the treatment group was 96.7%, and the control group was 86.7%. Through the Ridit analysis, the clinical effect of the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05), the difference has statistical significance.(5) on the related indexes of blood rheology, the levels of whole blood high shear rate, plasma viscosity, platelet adhesion rate and fibrinogen level after treatment were significantly lower than that before treatment, the difference has statistical difference(P<0.01), suggesting that the Bu Yang Huan Wu Decoction group in improving the whole blood high shear rate, plasma viscosity, platelet adhesion rate and fibrinogen level were significantly lower than the control group.(6) On the serum homocysteine, after treatment the serum homocysteine was significantly lower than that before treatment(P<0.01), the difference was statistically significant, suggesting that the Bu Yang Huan Wu Decoction group in improving the levels of Hcy was significantly better than the control group.Conclusion: Bu Yang Huan Wu decoction on the basis of conventional drugs on acutecerebral ischemic stroke shows efective in treating acute cerebral ischemic stroke.
