Objective: To compare he effects of heterogeneous calcined bone,freeze-dried bone xenograft bone and Bio-oss used individually and dissimilar calcined bone and Bio-oss bone respectively composite with platelet rich fibrin(platdet-rich fibrin, PRF)repair of periodontal bone defects.Methods: Preparation of sheep vertebrae calcined bone, freeze-dried bone,PRF gel and composites.The 63 New Zealand white rabbits were randomly divided into 7 groups,preparation of periodontal bone defects unilateral mode. 1.Randomly selected from among four groups(n=9,a total of 36) were implanted calcined bone,freeze-dried bone,comparative study of Bio-oss bone implants and not of any material control group;2.The remaining three groups were implanted PRF gel, calcined bone/PRF gel,Bio-oss bone/PRF gel(n=9,a total of 27) with the previous experimental control group, calcined bone group, Bio-oss bone group comparative study.After 4, 8 and 12 weeks, animals were sacrificed respectively for a complete specimen used in gross, radiological and histological observations.Measureing the height of periodontal tissue newborn. Promote the ability to assess the three scaffolds and scaffold with PRF gel complexes on periodontal tissue regeneration.Results:Compared with the blank control group, the bone density, new cementum height, new alveolar height and new periodontal ligament height were all higher in the calcined bone, freeze-dried bone, Bio-oss bone,PRF gel, calcined bone/PRF gel,Bio-oss bone/PRF gel groups at 4, 8, 12 weeks after treatment.As time went on, defected bone tissues gradually became continuous, newborn periodontal tissues were visible on the root surface and gradually became mature and increased in number.At 4 weeks after treatment, the new alveolar bone height was higher in the calcined bone group than the freeze-dried bone group(P< 0.05); at 12 weeks after treatment, the new periodontal ligament height was significantly higher in the freeze-dried bone group than the calcined bone group and Bio-oss bone group(P< 0.05).Index values for each experimental group after 8 weeks was significantly higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).12 weeks, the calcined bone / PRF, Bio-oss bone / PRF significantly improved compared with the control group, compared with the other groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: Self- calcined bone and freeze-dried bone prepared from sheep vertebrae can be used as graft material periodontal bone defects.The calcined bone is superior to the freeze-dried bone in terms of osteogenic induction, but the freeze-dried bone is better than the calcined bone and Bio-oss bone to promote the periodontal ligament regeneration. Calcined bone/PRF gel, Bio-oss bone/PRF gel composite material is superior to the effect of stent used alone, can significantly promote the regeneration of periodontal tissue.
