Objective: In order to establish a new vegetative state (VS) modelmade by photochemical. Depending on the experimental groupphotosensitizer concentration, the experimental group is divided into6groups (100,110,120,130,140,150mg/Kg),(n=10). After the end of theexperimental group rats injected RB, the use of cold energy of the fixedlight source illuminates the particular specific parts of the mouse brainusing a specific wavelength of light and RB react, resulting in thecerebral cortex in the region irradiated vascular thrombosis resulting in acorresponding cortical ischemic infarction obstacles, and ultimatelygenerate awareness. Reflex also includes: pupillary reflex, blinkreflex, tentacles reflex and eye tracking movement, contraction reflex oflimbs caused by noxious stimuli and sound stimuli. Screening each groupthe meet vegetative state standard rat animal models, and experimentalgroups for statistical analysis, modeling between6groups with differentconcentrations of photosensitizer in the success rate have no significantdifference (P>0.05). Successful modeling of rat brain tissues be TTCstaining, The result can be seen on all brain tissue slices white infarctcortex are based, when RB concentration reach140mg/Kg and150mg/Kgwhere there are visible white subcortical infarct. Clinical manifestationsand clinical symptoms of this experiment established animal models aresimilar vegetative state patients, is a kind of cortical infarction that is themain cause of the vegetative state, closer to the concept of vegetativestate. The modeling method is simple, low mortality and highrepeatability.
