Objective: Discussion Urumqi continuing medical education status and relatedfactors of for health staff, provide a theoretical basis for further improvement continuingmedical education management. Methods: randomly selected health technicians310ofUrumqi five secondary and tertiary general hospital to questionnaires, distributedhomemade "health technician status of continuing medical education survey", analysis of310health technicians continuing medical education cognitive level, satisfaction,participate in continuing medical education purposes and attitudes towards trainingmethods and effects, and analyzed using statistical software. Results:①Continuingmedical education basics average score was18.37±3.37, the effect of cognitive averagescore was18.76±3.21;②The impacted effection of medical education training of the topthree reasons were: heavier tasks (88.39%), no time (78.39%), non-professional trainingfor their own projects (for63.55%);③The purpose of participating in continuing medicaleducation of the top three were were promoted needs (90.00%), the need to complete thecredits (83.87%), the need to increase the professional level (78.06%);④The main way toparticipate in training was seminars and symposia dominant (77.74%), followed byconferences, lectures(77.10%). Written assessment methods mainly based (91.61%),followed by skills to operate (33.55%);⑤Different categories, education and job title ofhealth staff positions on the effects of cognitive dimension score was statisticallysignificant (P <0.05),.Education, job title, age and length of service of the correlationcoefficients on the basic cognitive scores were statistically significant (P <0.05).Multivariate analysis revealed that independent factors affecting health techniciansUrumqi basic knowledge score was educated and participate in working time, theindependent effect of cognitive factors affecting score was participating in working time(length of service).⑥Health technicians satisfaction of continuing medical educationteaching methods constitute were: very satisfied with0cases (0%), satisfactory4cases(1.29%), generally104cases (33.55%), are not satisfied with153cases (49.35%), it is notsatisfied with the49cases (15.81%), independent factors for health technicians satisfaction including age and titles.Conclusion: Currently Urumqi basic knowledge ofhealth technicians cognitive level is acceptable, but participate in continuing medicaleducation with a certain forced, the satisfaction for the existing modes of delivery waspoor. Response of time shorter, less educated and low relatively titles to enhanceawareness education for improve their satisfaction. And open online courses should alsobe increased, to carry out diverse educational model to improve the usefulness of thecourse, work-related, etc., and ultimately achieve the effect of improving continuingmedical education purposes of Urumqi.
