After detecting and analyzing the occupational hazard factors in the workplace ofdrilling engineering, counting and predicting the incidence of occupational disease of drillingengineering workers, this paper aims at guiding the prevention and control work ofoccupational diseases.Taking Chongqing A Drilling Company as the study subject, this paper acquires thetechnics, materials and labor operation modes for drilling engineering through consultingdocuments and developing field survey of occupational health of drilling engineering.Choosing B drilling team as the test object, adopting the field test method, this paper detectsseveral occupational hazard factors in the workplace, such as noise, hand-transmittedvibration, dust, toxicant, arc light of welding, power-frequency electric fields, etc. Thencarries out date statistics and analysis which used the national occupational exposure limits ofits hazard factors as reference. Besides, this paper uses the method of statistical analysis tocount the incidence of noise-induced deafness, pneumoconiosis, acute poisoning, chronicpoisoning and other occupational disease of A Drilling Company from2004to2014. Andbased on the GM model, this paper analyzes and predicts the total number of occupationaldisease incidence and the number of each kind of disease of A Drilling Company in theapproaching10years. Lastly, this paper combines the results of field survey and statisticalanalysis, puts forward the basic and exclusive prevention and control measures, andformulates the Guide Card for Identification and Prevention and Control of OccupationalHazard Factors in allusion to the diesel drivers. From the survey of occupational health, it showed that the technological process ofdrilling engineering mainly comprises drilling preparation, drilling, well cementing, wellcompletion; the technological materials mainly include clay, bentonite, weighting material, alkalinity control agent, emulsifire, surface active agent, organics, complex, etc; laboroperation modes incorporate manual, mechanical and man-machine operation; the workers’working system is two shifts which requires them to work7days a week and12hours a day;most of the workplaces are deserts and mountain areas. During the drilling process, theworkers mainly touch dust like bentonite, toxicants like hepatic gas, SO2, sodium carbonate, barium sulfate and bichromate., physical hazard factors like noise, hand-transmitted vibration, arc light of welding and power-frequency electric field. Among the drilling engineering workers, the most possible occupational disease is noise-induced deafness. Moreover, thenumber of occupational disease incidence is slowly increasing in the next10years.From the previous study, we can see that the workplace of drilling engineering is oftenoutdoors, the mainly occupational hazard factors are noise, hand-transmitted vibration, dust, toxicants, arc light of welding and power-frequency electric field. And the prevention andcontrol work of occupational disease is difficult. Therefore, the drilling industry shouldconstitute some exclusive prevention and control measures and standards of occupationaldisease so as to eliminate the occupational hazards to workers and improve the laborefficiency.
