Clinic Electronic Medical Record Systen Of TCM Pulmonary Disease

Objective: According to the features of electronic record of TCM and theacknowledgement of TCM about pulmonary disease, we intend to utilize the computerlanguage, PowerBuilder, to develop Access database in order to establish clinical recordcollection system of TCM pulmonary disease.Methods: We refer to related literature about TCM information science and teachingmaterials of TCM, and advocate the implementation of TCM and the modern technologyof computer database in order to design and construct of TCM pulmonary system diseaseclinic electronic medical record. We can apply the software to outpatient service.Results: This software has the following characteristics of friendly interface, simpleand personal operation. At the same time the system emphasize the TCM characteristics ofpathogenesis, syndrome and prescription. We use the software as an effective tool tosummarize the characteristics of incidence of pulmonary diseases.Conclusion: Compared with the traditional model，this software has the incomparableadvantage in the collection, storage, and statistical analysis of the data, but due to thecomplexity of clinical work, this software needs to be further improved in the process ofthe using.
