Clinical Eiffcacy Research And Quality Of Life Evaluation In Treating Phlegm And Blood Stasis Type Hypotension With Ditantongluo Decoction

Objective: To evaluate the clinical efficacy and quality of life in treating phlegm andblood stasis type hypertension with Ditantongluo decoction and to explore its mechanismof action.Methods:60cases were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,30cases in each group. The control group was received western standard antihypertensivetreatment and the other received western standard antihypertensive treatment plusDitantongluo decoction. The treatment cycle was12weeks. Two groups were observed inthe changes of the total antihypertensive efficiency, clinic blood pressure, ambulatoryblood pressure, TCM syndrome score and Quality of life scores. All data were analyzedwith SPSS19software.Results:1.In the total antihypertensive efficiency, the treatment group wassignificantly higher than that of control group (P<0.05). Two groups both reduced theclinic blood pressure and ambulatory blood pressure effectively, but the treatment groupwas significantly better(P<0.05).2.After treatment, two groups’ total score ofTCM syndrome decreased effectively, but the treatment group was significantlylower(P<0.01). In the aspect of total efficiency of TCM syndrome and every symptoms,the treatment group was significantly higher(P<0.05).3.Two groups both improved the patients’ quality of life, but the treatment group was significantly better (P<0.05).Conclusion: Ditantongluo decoction has good antihypertensive effect, which is safein Clinical application. It also can relieve the clinical symptoms of the patientseffectively and improve the life quality level of patients significantly.
