Objective: By evaluating the clinical efficacy of Acupuncture Jiajipoints combined with bloodletting puncture and cupping therapytreatment for postherpetic neuralgia,to provide an effective solution forthe clinical treatment of this disease.Method: The50thoracicpostherpetic neuralgia patients were randomly divided into Acupunctureat Jiaji points combined with bloodletting puncture and cupping therapytreatment group and acupuncture at Jiaji points combined with localsurrounding acupuncture group,25cases in each group. Theexperimental group, which is acupuncture at Jiaji points combined withbloodletting puncture and cupping therapy group,is compared withcontrol group, acupuncture at jiaji point combined with localsurrounding acupuncture group. Before and after treatment, patint’scondition was measured by using a visual analog scale (Visual AnalogueScale, referred to as VAS), and sleep quality score (Qs). Result:The experimental group had an effective rate of92%, while the control grouphad an effective rate of88%. Both treatment showed significanteffect. However, there is signiffcant statistical evidence(p <0.05),thatsuggests the experimental group had a larger significant benefit onpatients. Visual analogue scale (VAS) and sleep quality score (Qs) thanbefore treatment were significantly different (p <0.05), and the treatmentgroup had larger benefit on patients than the control group. Conclusion:Experiment group and control group can improve clinical signs andsymptoms, alleviate or eliminate pain, improve sleep qualityofpatients. However, the results of the experiment suggests that theexperimental group is more effect.
