Observe The Clinical Curative Effect Of Duhuojisheng Decoction Combined With Sodium Hyaluronate In The Treatment Of Knee Osteoarthritis

Objectives:Evaluate the clinical effect of Duhuojisheng decoction combined with sodium hyaluronate in the treatment of osteoarthritis of the knee,with a discussion of advantages and characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine treatment.Method:This study screened the KOA patients case information was in2012April to2013April in the outpatient department of orthopedics andthe inpatient of Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,and according tothe preset conditions of the inclusion criteria, exclusion criteria, treatment methods and so on, comparative study in70patients,treatment group and control group,35cases in each.The treatment group treated by Duhuo Jisheng Decoction and intra-articular injection of sodium hyaluronate,the control group was treated with pure intra-articular injection of sodium hyaluronate,treatment for5weeks,followed up for6months.Used the evaluation method of visual analog scale (VAS) and Michel Lequesen knee osteoarthritis severity index (ISOA),to observe and compare the clinical curative effect before and after treatment.Results:1.The two groups after1week of treatment,the role of reduced pain and improved function was quite (P>0.05).After the treatment of3weeks,5weeks and followed up for6months the treatment group was better than the control group (P <0.05).2.The two groups compared the VAS score and ISOA score at their treatment of5weeks and followed up for6months,treatment group differences were not statistically significant (P>0.05),the control group differences were statistically significant (P<0.05),the treatment group maintain the efficacy of pain and function. was better than the control group.3. After6months of follow-up,according to the effect of VAS score,the treatment group12cases got control,17cases marked effectiveness,4cases effectiveness and2cases failure,the total effective rate was94%;the control group4cases got control,13 cases marked effectiveness,13cases effectiveness and5cases failure;the total effective rate was86%.The treatment group in improving the effect of knee joint pain was better than the control group (P<0.05).According to the effect of ISOA score:the treatment group7cases got control,20cases marked effectiveness,7cases effectiveness andlcases failure,the total effective rate was97%;the control group2cases got control,13cases marked effectiveness,16cases effectiveness and4cases failure,the total effective rate was89%,the treatment group in improving the effect of knee joint function was better than the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Duhuojisheng decoction combined with sodium hyaluronate injection in the treatment of early metaphase KOA(Liver and kidney deficiency, wind, cold and dampness), can significantly improve pain and joint function of KOA, In reducing pain and improving function more effective than sodium hyaluronate therapy alone.2.Duhuojisheng decoction combined with intra-articular injection of sodium hyaluronate has no advantage in recent curative effect,late effect of maintaining the treatment effec was better than sodium hyaluronate.3.This study did not found adverse reaction reports in the treatment course of Duhuojisheng decoction combined with intra-articular injection of sodium hyaluronate,the treatment method was safe and reliable, with good compliance, curative effect was exact and stable.
