Objective:Analyze the relationship between the TCM syndrome elements and homocysteine level in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD),so as to build a quantitative basis, help TCM syndrome differentiation of Coronary Heart Disease.Method:1.Randomly selected 242 cases of the patients who have been diagnosed with Coronary Atherosclerotic Heart Disease in Jiangsu Province Hospital of TCM cardiology department between April 2014 and November 2014. In these cases,113 of them are men, accounting for 46.69%;129 of them are women, accounting for 53.31%. The oldest is 96 years old,and the youngest is 34 years old.2.Collect and record the patients general condition and the information acquired by observation、smell、auditory、asking and pulse-taking when they admitted to the hospital. In accordance with the 《The study of syndrome factor differentiation》, integral phlegm, blood stasis, Qi deficiency,Yin deficiency. And then combine them with the data of Plasma homocysteine of patients. Through a series of 2x2 factorial analyses, observe the correlation of he TCM syndrome elements and the plasma homocysteine.3.Adopt the data analyzed by SPSS 16.0 for Windows, with the standard of P< 0.05 to assess whether the data is statistically significant.Results:1. Select four syndrome elements phlegm、blood stasis、Qi deficiency、Yin deficiency,in accordance with the 《The study of syndrome factor differentiation》,242 cases of patients are divided into "with phlegm"group, "no phlegm" group; "with blood stasis"group, "no blood stasis" group, then according to the syndrome factors mixed or not, finally divide them into phlegm-only group of 57 cases, accounting for 23.55%;blood stasis-only group 70 case-s,accounting for 28.93%;phlegm and blood stasis group 53 cases, accounting for 25.62%;and no phlegm and blood stasis group 53cases,accounting for 21.90%.Similarly, all cases are divided into "with Qi deficiency "group, "no Qi deficiency " group; "with Yin deficiency "group, "no Yin deficiency " group, then according to the syndrome factors mixed or not, finally divide them into Qi deficiency-only group 52cases,accounting for 21.49%; Yin deficiency-only group 63 cases, accounting for 26.03%; Qi and Yin deficiency group 67 cases, accounting for 27.68%;and no qi and Yin deficiency group 60 cases, accounting for 24.79%.2.1n the study,The proportion of phlegm, Qi deficiency and Yin deficiency show no difference in sex.,while blood stasis in women group is more common than men.3.In the eight syndrome factor groups, the phlegm and blood stasis group、blood stasis-only group、Qi and Yin deficiency group are more common in elder patients especially over 70.4. In different syndrome factor groups, the plasma hey levels have obvious differences. The excess syndrome from high to low is as listed below:blood stasis-only group> phlegm and blood stasis group> phlegm-only group> no phlegm and blood stasis group; The deficiency syndrome as follows:Qi and Yin deficiency group> Yin deficiency-only group> no Qi and Yin deficiency group> Qi deficiency-only group. The mixed excess-deficiency syndrome as follows:Qi and Yin deficiency group with blood stasis> Yin deficiency group with blood stasis> Yin deficiency group with phlegm> Qi and Yin deficiency group with phlegm> Qi deficiency group with phlegm.Data shows the integral of blood stasis、phlegm、Yin deficiency and plasma hey levels have linear relation.Conclusion:1.For Coronary Heart Disease patients, gender shows some correlation with the TCM syndrome elements. Women more likely have blood stasis syndrome compare to men. In different age groups, there’s no obvious diffrenece.2.For patients with Coronary Heart Disease, there is no significant difference between Hey and Qi deficiency, while there is positive correlation between Hey and blood stasis、phlegm、Yin deficiency. Hey levels have highly linear relation with integral of blood stasis and Yin deficiency. Hey levels have linear relation with integral of phlegm. In most patients with blood stasis、 phlegm and Yin deficiency, plasma hey often increases. The higher the plasma hey is, the situation of the blood stasis、phlegm and Yin deficiency is worse. Therefore, plasma hey can provide some objective basis for TCM syndrome differentiation of coronary heart disease, especially for patients with blood stasis、phlegm、Yin deficiency syndrome.
