Clinical Research Of Shugan Hewei Drinks In The Treatment Of Functional Dyspepsia

Background:Functional dyspepsia (functional dyspepsia, FD) is the of symptoms which derived from stomach and duodenum, and can exclude the symptoms of organic, systemic, metabolic disease.There is an upward trend in its morbidity, the incidence of new FD is about 1% per year.Although the incidence of this disease is high, only less than 50% of patients see a docter, expect the patients with anxiety tendency. There is no unified conclusion on the etiology and pathogenesis of FD now.Main aim of the present treatment is quickly relieve symptoms, improve quality of the patients’ life.FD belongs to Chinese medicine "piman", "weiwantong", the curative effect of Chinese medicine in the treatment of FD is increasingly significant. Shugan Hewei drink is reorganized by Rougan drinks.It is used in clinical a long time, and achieves good clinical curative effect.This subject focuses on this drink for clinical curative effect.Objectives:By comparing before and after the comprehensive efficacy, symptom scores and short form of nepean dyspepsia index (Short form of nepean dyspepsia index, NDI-SF) Shugan Hewei drink on the trentment of FD curative effect, FD treated with traditional Chinese medicine to provide the related basis.Methods:39 patients who had functional dyspepsia were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,20 cases were in treatment groupand 19 cases were in control group.Treatment group was treated by Shugan Hewei Drinks, control group adopts Domperidone Tablets,4 weeks for a period of treatment.Observe their changes in the two groups of the comprehensive efficacy, symptom scores and NDI-SF before and after treatment.Results:1.By using the SPSS19.0 statistical software to analyze.. Two groups of patients in general (sex, age) showed no significant difference (P>0.05). Symptom scores, DNI-SF score was no significant difference (P> 0.05).2. The total effective rate of treatment group was 95.00%, and the control group was 78.95%.There is statistically significant difference compared with two groups(P<0.05);3. Two groups of patients were improved the symptom scores after treatment(P<0.05).The effect of treatment group is significantly higher than control group in abdominal fullness, belching, sour regurgitation and so on (P<0.05);4.After treatment NDI-SF scores was significantly lower (P<0.05), the treatment group was significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion:1. Shugan Hewei drink has significant effect than Domperidone Tablets in the treatment of FD, especially in improving the symptom scores and NDI-SF integral.2. Shugan Hewei drink can obviously support positive mood, improve their quality of life through the comparison of NDI-SF before and after treatment.3. There is no influence of liver and kidney function.It can promote in the treatment of FD.
