| ObjectiveTo explore a method that can improve the hypoglycemic effects of Platycodon grandiflorum,which the hypoglycemic components of Platycodon gradiflorum that were the total polysaccharides,the total saponins,the total flavonoids and the total polyphenol content was the highest of the best fementation solution. Study on hypoglycemic effect of animal test in vivo of Platycodon grandiflorum which were at the different treatment for type â…¡ diabetes rats.Then study on the T-SOD,MDA in serum and liver or muscle glycogen content of the type â…¡ diabetes rats in order to explore the hypoglycemic effect of Platycodon grandiflorum which were at the different treatment.MethodsThrough the single factor experiment to investigate the time of fermentation,the quantity of lactic acid bacteria and yeast added,the ratio of material to liquid and the quantity of glucose added were how to influence the Platycodon grandiflorum mainly hypoglycemic components.Then determined the factors and levels of orthogonal experimental design method of Platycodon grandiflorum.The method of vivo experiment was been selected to explore the hypoglycemic effect of Platycodon grandiflorum which were fermented The 65 male SD rats about 150 g were divided into the normal animal hypoglycemic experiment groups and the high blood glucose model animal hypoglycemic experiment groups.Then from the body weight,the fasting blood glucose,the glucose tolerance and organ index ande other aspects of type â…¡ diabetes rats to study the effect of Platycodon grandiflorum which were at the different treatment. Then study on the T-SOD,MDA in serum and liver or muscle glycogen of the type â…¡ diabetes rats to explore the hypoglycemic effect of Platycodon grandiflorum which were at the different treatment.ResultsCompared with the unfermented Platycodon grandiflorum,the total saponin increased from 3.50% to 5.44%,the total polysaccharide increased from 5.46% to 9.11%,the total flavonoids increased from 0.86% to 2.59%,the total polyphenol increased from 0.82% to 3.36% after fermentation.The DPPH free radical scavenging ability increased about5-7% and the OH radical scavenging ability increased about 4-9% in the same extract concentration after fermentation.The extect of Platycodon grandiflorum could significantly reduce the blood glucose levels,also improved OGTT and the symptom,increased the content of glycoden and T-SOD,then reduced the MDA levels in serum of the type â…¡ diabetes rats.ConclusionsThe Platycodon grandiflorum fermented had the certain role in reducing the blood glucose of the type â…¡ diabetes rats.More over,the hypoglycemic effect of the Platycodon grandiflorum fermented was more obvious than unfermented. |
