Objective: Oneof the key to the treatment of lung cancer is chemotherapy,to evaluate the efficacy of chemotherapy is particularly important, Pro GRP and NSE in SCLC has different degree of expression, this experiment was to study in patients with SCLC Pro GRP and NSE serum levels before and after chemotherapy, discuss Pro GRP and NSE is expected to become a reliable predictor of SCLC chemotherapy curative effect.Methods: Healthy people from **hospital, the pathological tissue diagnosed, and can evaluate lesions in patients with SCLC, comply with the indications for chemotherapy. In chemotherapy before 1 day and after 2,4 cycle of chemotherapy in 20 day and healthy controls extraction of venous blood 3 m L, respectively, after the centrifugal take upperserum in the frozen storage under 80 ℃ below zero.Using ELISA method for dete rmination of serum Pro GRP and NSE levels change in before and after chemotherapy.Results: 1,(1) Compared with control group, patients with SCLC serum Pro GRP, NSE concentrations before chemotherapy and after 2 cycles of chemotherapy were significantly higher than that of normal control group(P≤0.05);after 4 cycles of chemotherapy,compared with control group, P>0.05;(2)Compared before and after chemotherapy,before chemotherapy and after 2, 4 cycles of chemotherapy respectively, Pro GRP,NSE concentration comparision, P≤0.05;compared with after 2, 4 cycles of chemotherapy, P>0.05.2,(1) Between grous of Pro GRP comparison before and after chemotherapy, CR(complete remission), SD(stability), PD(progress) group shows that compared with chemotherapy before and after 2,4 cycles of chemotherapy comparison,P≤0.05.PR(partial response) group, Pro GRP before and after 2, 4 cycles of chemotherapy, P≤0.05;Compared to after 2, 4 cycles of chemotherapy, P>0.05.(2) Between grous of NSE comparison before and after chemotherapy, CR, PR, SD group shows that before and after 2, 4 cycles of chemotherapy comparison,P≤0.05.Compared to after 2, 4 cycles of chemotherapy, P>0.05;PD group of NSE levels compare before and after 2 cycles of chemotherapy P≤0.05;Compared to before and after 4 cycles of chemotherapy, P>0.05.3,(1)Before chemotherapy four groups comparision, compared Pro GRP, NSE concentration in CR, PR, SD, PD group, P>0.05.(2)After 2 cycles of chemotherapy, CR and PR, SD, PD group of Pro GRP comparison, P≤0.05;PR, SD, PD group Pro GRP comparison, P>0.05.compared NSE level in SD, PD with CR group, PR and PD group,P≤0.05;PR ompared with CR,SD group,SD and PD comparison,P>0.05.(3)After 4 cycles of chemotherapy, CR, PR, SD group of Pro GRP comparison, P>0.05; PD group compared with CR, PR, SD group,P≤0.05. NSE comparison and after 2 cycles of chemotherapy NSE similarly, except SD, PD group comparison, P≤0.05.Conclusion: 1.Pro GRP and NSE concentration before chemotherapy significantly higher than that of normal healthy people, after chemotherapy Pro GRP, NSE concentration drops to some extent,after 2 cycles of chemotherapy significantly lower.2. SCLC patients before 3, 5 cycles chemotherapy Pro GRP, NSE level comparison, P>0.05,but Pro GRP, NSE level is still a slight downward trend.3.After chemotherapy Pro GRP, NSE serum concentration in CR, PR, SD, PD group were different degree decline,CR group down significantly, Pro GRP monitoring the efficacy of chemotherapy more meaningful.Before and after 2,4cycles of chemotherapy between Pro GRP, NSE serum concentration, were positively correlated.4.In small cell lung cancer, joint detection Pro GRP and NSE,detection sensitivity same to alone, but high specificity than separate test.
