Objective:Most of the lung cancer diagnosis has lost the opportunity to surgery because of distant metastasis.Chemotherapy is the most widely used method in the treatment of lung cancer.So it is very crucial for the prognosis of patients with lung cancer to monitor the efficacy of chemotherapy in a timely and convenient manner.transforming growth factor 1(TGF-?1).cytokeratin 19 fragment (CYFRA21-1) have different degrees of expression in the occurrence and development of lung cancer.The study was to research the expression of TGF-?1 and CYFRA21-1 in patients with non small cell lung cancer(NSCLC) before and after chemotherapy.And to explore whether it can become a monitoring target in chemotherapy efficacy of NSCLC.Method:Healthy control group were from the health examination center of a hospital.Experimental groups were all diagnosed as NSCLC patients and patients have chemotherapy indications and receiving chemotherapy.Venous blood(3.0 ml) was collected from each subject into tubes and the upper serum was stored at-80 after centrifugation.The expression of TGF-?1 and CYFRA21-1 in serum was detected by ELISA method.Among them,the control group were taken once,the experimental group were taken three times.One day before chemotherapy,after 2 cycles chemotherapy,after 4 cycles chemotherapy.Result :1.Comparison of the control group and the experimental group (1) patients with NSCLC serum TGF-?1 and CYFRA21-1 concentrations before chemotherapy,after 2 cycles and 4 cycles of chemotherapy were significantly higher than the healthy control group(P<0.01) (2) Before chemotherapy,4,2 cycles of chemotherapy and chemotherapy cycle TGF-beta 1 and concentration CYFRA21-1,P < 0.05.2.The experimental group will be divided into CR group(complete response),PR group group(partial),SD(stability)and PD group(progress group):(1)PR,SD group before chemotherapy,chemotherapy for 2 weeks,4 weeks after chemotherapy of TGF-beta 1and CYFRA21-1 concentration showed a trend of gradually decreasing,the difference was statistically significant(p < 0.01),the PD group before and after chemotherapy TGF-beta 1 and CYFRA21-1 the concentration of no statistical significance(p >0.05).(2)PR,SD group and PD group before chemotherapy TGF-beta 1 and compare the concentration of the concentration CYFRA21-1 no statistical significance(p >0.05),2 cycles of chemotherapy,chemotherapy after 4 cycles of TGF-beta 1 and CYFRA21-1 concentration showed a trend of increasing,with statistical significance(p < 0.05)3.relevance,before chemotherapy,2 cycles of chemotherapy,chemotherapy TGF-beta 1 and 4 cycle CYFRA21-1 concentration into linear correlation,positive correlation.Conclusion:The serum levels of TGF-?1 and CYFRA21-1 in NSCLC patients were significantly higher than those in healthy people;After chemotherapy,the serum concentration of TGF-?1 and CYFRA21-1 decreased gradually.The concentration of TGF-?1 was the most significant decrease after 4 cycles of chemotherapy.After chemotherapy,the concentration of CYFRA21-1 decreased smoothly.But the concentration of TGF-?1 and CYFRA21-1 are still higher than those healthy people.There was no significant difference in serum levels of TGF-?1 and CYFRA21-1 after chemotherapy between SD,CR,PR and PD group.The serum levels of TGF-?1 and CYFRA21-1 were decreased after chemotherapy.Among them,the largest decline was CR group,In CR group decreased fastest,variations in PD group before and after chemotherapy.TGF-beta 1 concentration and CYFRA21-1 a linear positive correlation.
