Study On Jiang Jianguo’s Academic Thoughts About Treatise On Febrile Diseases

Objective : Professor Jiang Jianguo is a famous scholar who has dedicated to the study of the treatise on typhoid more than 30 years. And his academic achievements have been acknowledged by academic accreditation. To further study Jiang Jianguo’s academic thoughts about Treatise on Febrile Diseases, the article reviewed formation and development of Professor Jiang’s academic views and illustrated his scholarly methods and features, from four aspects of study, teaching, research and practice. In this way, it is expected to help carry forward Qilu Typhoid Academic Thoughts and inspire the followers.Methods: We sorted Professor Jiang’s academic achievements, including works he published, the research projects he participated and postgraduate papers he instructed.And then we analyzed the causes and process of his representative academic views formation and development from scholarly methods, attitudes as well as spirits in chronological order.Results: As a student, he studied diligently, thought dependently, sticked to the truth and put forward questions boldly; as a teacher, he stressed resolution to perplexed problems in Treatise on Febrile Diseases, impartment of syndrome differentiation thoughts, applied achievements to teaching practices and explored new ideas of teaching methods and teaching reformation; as a clinical practitioner, he applied Treatise on Febrile Diseases to clinical practices, prescribed medication with complex syndrome differentiation thoughts, which he had rich experiences in many common or perplex diseases.Conclusion: Professor Jiang, on scholar methods, pay attention to syndrome differentiation and resolve perplex problems of Treatise on Febrile Diseases from the point of thinking. On teaching, he focuses on cultivating thinking ability. On clinical practices, he treats difficult diseases with syndrome differentiation. On scholar attitudes,he is critical for and doubts boldly authority; he promotes independent thinking and he also encourages followers to raise different views to his own.
