Objective: To investigate the influence of genetic polymorphism of CYP2E1 and plasma concentration of anti-tuberculosis drugs in Tibetan and Han patients with tuberculosis in Qinghai province. In order to providing a theoretical basis and for individual treatment. Methods:114 cases pulmonary tuberculosis patients were selected. The genetic polymorphism of CYP2E1 were detected by PCR-RELP method. Anti-tuberculosis drugs’ concentration were determined by HPLC-MS、HPLC-DAD. Compared the plasma concentration of anti-tuberculosis drugs’ with different genotypes between the two ethnicities. Results: There were significantly differences in the genetic polymorphism of CYP2E1 between Tibetan and Han patients with pulmonary tuberculosis(all P<0.01).The genetic polymorphism of CYP2E1 in the patients who took with C1/C1、C1/C2 genotype, the plasma concentration had no significantly difference(P>0.05)between the three anti-tuberculosis drugs. Conclusion: 1.The genetic polymorphism of CYP2E1 was varied widely in Tibetan and Han patients with tuberculosis in Qinghai province.Han patients are mainly took with C1/C2,while Tibetan patients are mainly took with C1/C1. 2. There was no significant difference of the plasma concentration of anti-tuberculosis drugs between the two ethnicities with different genotypes of CYP2E1.It indicated that the genetic polymorphism may be not affect the anti-tuberculosis drugs’ plasma concentration.
