Clinical Research Of Jiangshi Granules In Treating Weakness Of Spleen And Stomach Chronic Enteritis

Objective: Using the preparation from Gansu University of Chinese Medicine Affiliated Hospital to treat CE patients with the weakness of spleen and stomach,through randomized controlled observation, observing the changes of the Intestinal Mucosa and the repeated situation from clinical and colonoscopy, The aim to evaluate the clinical effect and security of Jiangshi granules in treating chronic enteritis,which will offer the theoretical foundation for clinical application.Method: First, divide the 80 CE patients with the weakness of spleen and stomach into treatment group(40 patients) and control group(40 patients) randomized. Then treatment group were treated by taking Jiangshi granules, a preparation from Hospital Department,while the control group were treated by taking bupiyichang pill. And their intervention period at 6 weeks. Next observe the main clinical symptoms and the changes of TCM syndrome integral and the recover of intestinal mucosa. Finally, all data collected were analyzed with the statistical software named SPSS19.0.Result:Prior treatment,between treatment group(40 patients) and control group(40patients) randomized, their baseline datas in gender, course of disease,age and the change of intestinal mucosa through enteroscope, are good balance, no statistically significant differences(P>0.05), with comparability. Post treatment, first step is to observe the symptoms improvement of the treatment group taking jiangshi granules and the result is that 19 cases healed completely well, 11 cases had marked effect, 6 cases had effect, 4 cases without effect,and the total cure rate was 90%.For the intervention effect of control group taking bupiyichang pill, 12 cases healed completely well, 8 cases had marked effect, 10 cases had effect, 10 cases without effect, and the total cure rate was 75%. The result by the Wilcoxon rank sum test is Z=-2.213,P=0.027,according to test ciiterion a=0.05, the result P<0.05.The differences have marked significance. In addition, compared the curative effect of symptoms with loose stool,tenesmus, bloody stool, heaviness of limbs reducing diet and lateral lower abdomen distending pain,the intervention effect on the 6 symptoms have statistical difference.And then compared the improved conditions of intestinal mucosa through enteroscope, of the treatment group taking jiangshi granules,20 cases had marked effect, 17 cases had effect, 3cases without effect, and the total cure rate was 93%. For the patients of the control group, 12 cases had marked effect, 11 cases had effect, 7 cases without effect, and the total cure rate was58%.The curative effect on the Intestinal Mucosa of patients from two groups by the Wilcoxon rank sum test get the result Z=-2.958,P=0.003; the result P<0.05 is get accordingto test ciiterion a=0.05 the differences have marked significance. In terms of the overall curative effect, of the treatment group taking jiangshi granules,16 cases had marked effect, 20 cases had effect, 4 cases without effect, and the total cure rate was 90%. For the patients of the control group, 12 cases had marked effect, 15 cases had effect, 11 cases without effect,and the total cure rate was 66%. The constituent ratio of curative effect of two groups is ranked data,so the result Z=-2.669,P=0.008 is get by the Wilcoxon rank sum test, according to test ciiterion a=0.05, get the result P<0.05,two curative effect of comparative differences have very remarkable significance.Conclusion : The curative effect of Jiangshi granules in treating CE patients with the weakness of spleen and stomach is better than the control group. It is safe and it is worthy of promotion and application for the future, as well as jiangshi granules have the value of further study.
