The glass-ceramics of CaO-P2O5-Na2O-SiO2 system were prepared by the sol-gel method. The effect of boron and fluorine on the system were studied by experiment. The crystallization temperatures were determined by TG-DSC. The main crystal phase of the glass-ceramics was Na6Ca3Si6O18. Then the mechanical properties of the glass-ceramics were analyzed by mechanical testing. The biological activity and microstructures glass-ceramics were characterized by X-ray diffractometry(XRD), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy(FTIR), Scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and in vitro assays.The results show that the crystallization temperatures of CPNS, CPNSB and CPNSBF system were lower than the melting method. The mechanical properties of CPNSBF was best. The Ca10(PO4)3(CO3)3(OH)2 and Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2 were appeared after the CPNS sample soaked in SBF 14 days. The Ca10(PO4)3(CO3)3(OH)2 and Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2 were appeared after the CPNSB sample soaked in SBF 2 days. The Ca10(PO4)3(CO3)3(OH)2 was appeared after the CPNSBF sample soaked in SBF 2 days and the Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2 was appeared after 7 days.
