| Objective:Though observing on the therapeutic effect of verruca plana (wind-heat with exuberance of virulence syndrome) treated with Huangshixiaoyou decoction, to study its mechanism of action, and provide a safety and effective method for treatment of verruca plana.Method:Sixty cases of verruca plana (wind-heat with exuberance of virulence syndrome) were randomized into a treatment group and a control group.The treatment group was treated with Huangshixiaoyou decoction and Recombinant Human Interferon α-2b Gel,while the control group was treated with transfer factor capsules and Recombinant Human Interferon α-2b Gel.Observe the two groups on the clinical effect, skin lesion and adverse reactions in the treatment, clinical symptom and improvement of skin lesion were compared after 4 weeks.Result:After treatment,4 cases recovered,6 cases were better,10 cases were effective,10 cases were ineffective in the treatment group,the efficiency was 68.97%. While in the control group 1 cases recovered,6 cases were better,7 cases were effective,15 cases were ineffective, the efficiency was 48.28%. There was statistical difference (P<0.05) between two groups. The treatment group was better than the treatment group in curative ratio, total effective rate, clinical symptom and improvement of skin lesion (p<0.05). There were no obvious side-effect in both group.Conclusion:The clinical effect of Huangshixiaoyou decoction to verruca plana (wind-heat with exuberance of virulence syndrome) was satisfying.There was no obvious side-effect. It provided a easy and cheap way for verruca plana. It was worthy to be generalized. |
