Correlation Between Obstructive Sleep Apnea Hypopnea Syndrome (OSAHS) With Laryngopharyngeal Reflux Index

Objective:To investgate correlation between Varying degrees of obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS) with laryngopharyrigeal reflux index. Methods:sixty one patients with OSAHS were diagnosed by polysomnography in the Xinjiang autonomous region people’s hospital between January 2014 and January 2015. Results:With the severity of the OSAHS, UES relaxation duration, duration of UES relaxtion time, UES relaxtion recovery time were all longer (F were 78.921、97.162、38.194and155.974, P<0.05). median frequency of total reflux episodes were 39.40[28.28; 47.68]、 71.75[66.80; 77.65] and 91.60[82.20; 97.90], median frequency time of acid clearance were38.00[32.00; 45.65]、67.90[65.45; 77.53] and 90.20[85.60; 95.60] The frequency of total reflux episodes, time of acid clearance were increased or higher With increasing severity of OSAHS (X2 were 50.554、51.387 and 47.755, P<0.05) Conclusion:There are upper esophageal sphincter dismotility with increasing severity of OSAHS.
