| ObjectiveTo discuss the impact of Jin’s three needle threpay on the sleep disorders of children with synostotic plagiocephaly, to provide safe and effective program of acupuncture treatment of improving the sleep quality of children with synostotic plagiocephaly.MethodsXinqiao Hospital of the Third Military Medical University Hospital’s 60 cases of children with synostotic plagiocephaly from July 2015 to January 2016 divided into treatment group and control group in accordance with the parents extent of voluntary to follow the treatment, with 30 cases in each. Patients in the treatment group were treated by Jin’s three needle therapy combined with oral melatonin treatment and main points group including Sishen needle, dingshen needle, zhisan needle, zuzhi needle; and the control group was treated with melatonin. The simple infant sleep questionnaire (BISQ) was used to observe the sleep latency, duration of sleep, total sleep time and sleep efficiency of 4 indicators. Results using SPSS19.0 statistical analysis.Results(1)There was no significant difference in the gender, age, and the difference of the indexes before treatment between the treatment group and the control group. (2)Treatment group, sleep latency was reduced 0.21±0.08h h, sleep duration increased 0.75±0.39h, total sleep time increased 0.11±0.07h, sleep efficiency increases 0.07±0.02h; control group, the latency decreased 0.15±0.08h, sleep duration increased 0.52±0.36h, total sleep time increases 0.60±0.40h, sleep efficiency improve 0.04±0.03h. The sleep quality of the two groups were improved than before treatment. (3) Compared with each index of control group before and after, after treatment sleep latency was significantly shorter, sleep duration increased extended, total sleep time, sleep efficiency improved significantly. Therefore, it is found that melatonin has a certain effect on improving the sleep quality of children with closed cranial suture. (4)Comparison of treament group and control group difference in each index before and after treatment, the sleep latency was significantly shorter, sleep duration increased extended, total sleep time of the treatment group were better than the control group, but sleep efficiency did not show significant difference.ConclusionAfter 2 months of treatment, the sleep quality of two groups of children have been improved to different degree (1)Jin’s three needle therapy can effectively improve sleep quality of children with synostotic plagiocephaly; (2)The impact of Jin’s three needle combined with melatonin in the treatment of the sleep disorders of children with synostotic plagiocephaly is better, compared to the simple use of melatonin. |
