Objective To explor the clinical significance of platelet to lymphocyte ratio (PLR) and neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio(NLR)in patients with acute ischemic stroke (AIS).Method A total of 200 patients(A group) and 50 healthy subjects(B group) between December 2013 to April 2015 were enrolled in this study. Admission Blood routine indicators were measured in two groups, and the PLR and NLR was calculated simultaneously. We analyzed the PLR and NLR in patients with AIS groups compared with the healthy controls. According to the severity of stroke, all patients were divided in to three groups; mild(Al),moderate(A2) and severe groups(A3), and also analyzed the PLR and NLR in three groups with AIS patients. The ROC curve was used to evaluate the diagnostic value of PLR and NLR.Result The levels of mean PLR and NLR was higher in the A goup than that the B group((142.12±32.95 vs84.19±21.29,5.11±1.33 vs 1.95±0.44, all JP<0.05).The levels of mean PLR was 120.34±23.60,141.26±39.96å'Œ184.86±42.81 in Al~A3 groups, and there were significantly differences between Al-A2 groups, and A2-A3groups (all P<0.05).The levels of mean NLR was 2.94±0.6,5.06±1.24 and 9.35±2.72 in Al ~A3 groups, and there were significantly differences among Al~A3 groups(all P< 0.05). Rank correlation analysis showed that were positive correlation between NLR, PLR and severity of the AIS (r=0.698,r=0.365,P<0.05).The area under ROC curve (AUC) of NLR and PLR were 0.82(0.77-0.89 CI95%,P<0.05) and 0.805 (0.750-0.860 CI95%,P<0.05), respectively. The sensitivity of NLR and PLR were 69% and 53%, and specificity of NLR and PLR were 98%.The cutoff values of NLR and PLR were 2.81 and 124.7, respectively. Conclusion 1.PLR and NLR was useful marker to predicter of severity in patients with AIS.2. PLR and NLR was useful marker to predicter of prognosis in patients with AIS. |
