Objective:To observe the effect of Yangxin 2 on serum inflammatory cytokines in rats with heart failure and explore the mechanism of Yangxin 2 on the treatment of CHF.Methods:Rats model with chronic heart failure were prepared by injecting isopropyl adrenaline hydrochloride. After 28 days, the survival eighteen SD rats were randomly divided into three groups:the model group(Group B),the Carvedilol group(Group C) and Yangxin 2 group (Group D).Group A was the normal control group. The Carvedilol tablets and Yangxin 2 prescription were diluted to the required concentration by adding distilled water. Rats in Group C were treated with Carvedilol 0.5625mg/kg.d; Rats in Group D were given Yangxin 2 prescription to gavage. Rats in Group A and Group B were given the same capacity of distilled water to gavage. All rats were given tablets for four weeks continuously according to the standard strictly. At the end of the experiment, the changes about heart function and cytokine levels of every group of rats were observed.Results:1. The comparation between LVESD and LVEDD after drug intervention on rats’heart:Group C and Group D were lower than that of Group B(P<0.05); Comparation between LVEF and LVFS: Group C and Group D were higher than Group B(P<0.05).2. The comparation of concentration with Proinflammatory Cytokines:The comparation of concentration with TNF-a:Group C< Group B (P<0.01), Group D<Group B (P<0.05); The comparation of the concentration between 1L-1β and 1L-6:There was no statistical difference between Group C and Group B(P>0.05); Group D<Group B (P<0.05); The comparation with 1L-1β:Group D<Group C (P<0.05); The comparation of concentration between TNF-α and 1L-6:There was no statistical difference between Group D and Group C(P>0.05).3. The comparation of concentration with Serum anti inflammatory cytokines 1L-10:Group C and Group D were higher than Group B(P<0.05);There was no statistically significant difference between these two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion:1. Yangxin 2 can significantly reduce LVEDD and LVESD in rats with heart failure. It can improve LVEF and LVFS in rats with heart failure and perfect the function of left ventricle.2. Yangxin 2 can significantly improve the heart function of the rats suffering from heart failure. It can inhibit the abnormal activation of Proinflammatory cytokine and improve the level of Serum anti inflammatory cytokines. By this means it adjusts the immune function so ventricular remodeling can be delayed.3. The effect of Yangxin 2 on chronic heart failure can be equal or even superior to that of Carvedilol in some of the target.
