ObjectiveObjective To study the clinical and pathological characters of gastric polyps and correlation with helicobacter pylori infection, but also the preliminary analysis and discussion of the distribution regularities of TCM syndromes of gastric polyps. In order to improve the recognition of the disease and treatment level, and provide more clinical diagnosis and treatment of the disease. Provide a theoretical basis for the formation of a unified the certificate for the disease.MethodsPatients from On July 1,2015 to January 31,2016, inpatient, Department of Spleen and stomach disease, First Hospital Affiliated to Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine with a diagnosis of gastric polyps. By prospective study, Collect the patient’s general clinical data, the result of helicobacter pylori infection, gastroscope and pathology results, And develop the TCM syndrome type distribution of the questionnaire, Collect the patient’s TCM diagnostic data, objectiver to research the syndromes of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Using Excel to build a database of library and SPSS17.0 software for statistical analysis, Count data using chi-square test to P< 0.05 that was statistically significant.Results1.This study collected 150 cases of patients with gastric polyps, there are 40 male patients, and 110 female patients, the male to female ratio of cases was 1:2.75.Patients are mainly concentrated in the age of 40 to 70 years old, there are 130 cases, accounted for 86.67%. There are Single gastric polyps 68 cases, Multiple gastric polyps 82 cases, accounted for 45.33%,45.33% respectively. The most common growth areas in the gastric body, the number was 65(43.34%). The number of polyps≤0.5cm was 99(66.00%), a few Relatively infrequent of polyps>1.0cm. Stomachache and bloating are common clinical finding.2.The number of inflammatory polyps was 72(48.00%), hyperplastic polyps was 63(42.00%), fundic gland polyps was 12(8.00%), adenomatous polyps was 3(2.00%). Pathological type of gastric polyps has nothing to do with the gender, polyp size, number, but with the growth of polyps position. All parts are in common inflammatory polyps, hyperplastic polyps was common on the funds and body of the stomach, fundic gland polyps was common on the body.3.there are 150 patients with gastric polyps,64 cases of Hp positive infection, infection rate 42.67% (64/150). The pathologic types distribution of gastric polyps related to Hp infection, the correlation of infection Of the inflammatory polyp patients with Hp Compared with hyperplastic polyp, fundic gland polyps, P<0.05.4. This study shows that the liver_stomach disharmony was 48(32.00%), syndrome of spleen and stomach damp-heat was 39(26.00%), dampness-heat due to spleen deficiency was 26(17.33%), syndrome of deficient cold of spleen and stomach was 17(11.33%), syndrome of gas delay of Stomach indicates was 9(6.00%), syndrome of intermin-gled phlegm and blood stasis was 11 (7.33), the most of them is liver_stomach disharmony, followed by the syndrome of spleen and stomach damp-heat5. The distribution regularities of TCM syndromes of gastric polyps related to Hp infection and gender, but nothing to do with pathological type of gastric polyps. The correlation of the spleen and stomach syndrome of gastric polyps and Hp infection than other type of syndrome, P<0.05; and the syndrome of spleen and stomach damp-heat is common in male.Conclusion1. The age of onset gastric polyps was in over 40 years old, females more than males. The gastric polyps were mainly located in the body of stomach, multiple more than single, most of the Gastric polyp diameter≤0.5cm. Stomachache and bloating are common clinical finding.2. Most of the pathologic type is inflammatory polyps, in the second place is hyperplastic polyps, the inflammatory polyps is related to the positive test of Hp.3. The most of the TCM syndromes of gastric polyps is liver_stomach disharmony, followed by the syndrome of spleen and stomach damp-heat. The distribution frequency was liver_stomach disharmony>dampness-heat due to spleen deficiency>dampness-heat due to spleen deficiency>syndrome of deficient cold of spleen and stomach>syndrome of gas delay of Stomach indicates>syndrome of intermin-gled phlegm and blood stasis4. The distribution regularities of TCM syndromes of gastric polyps related to Hp infection and gender. The syndrome of spleen and stomach damp-heat is common in male, and most of Them test the Hp is positive.
