Purpose:To observed and to cpmpare for clinical curative effect of treatment in patients with Qi deficiency type chronic functional constipation by using Triple Point Granule Moxibustion and simple acupuncture therapy. By using TCM syndrome score of chronic constipation due to deficiency of Qi and Knowles-Eccersley-Scott symptom score(KESS) and quality of life in patients with constipation as the observation index. By comparing the two groups of patients before treatment and after treatment of each scale points to validity and clinical utility evaluation Triple Point Granule Moxibustion combine acupuncture and compared with the simple acupuncture therapy of clinical superiority. Provide the basis for clinical practice of Triple Point Granule Moxibustion combine acupuncture treatment of chronic functional constipation due to deficiency of Qi.Methods:Prospective study using the method of randomized clinical trials, collected from May 2015 to March 2016, the 60 patients who aged 18 to 80 years old deficiency of Qi type chronic functional constipation and compliance with the provisions of the diagnostic criteria and inclusion criteria. The patients were randomly divided into experimental group and control group, each group of 30 cases. Experimental group treatment by Granule Moxibustion combine acupuncture and control group only treatment by acupuncture, once a day, each time for 30 minutes,4 monday as a course of treatment. After treatment, TCM syndrome score of patients with chronic constipation of qi deficiency type,Knowles-Eccersley-Scott symptom score, total score of questionnaire onquality of life in patients with constipation(PAC-QOL),three observationindexes and total curative effect assessments. Using SPSS19.0 package forthe statistical analysis, indicators and the overall efficacy of the controlobservation of two groups.Result: The actual number of cases of complete clinical of this clinicalobservation study collect 60 objects, include Granule Moxibustion combineacupuncture group 30 objects and the group only treatment by acupuncture 30objects. Baseline Analysis:In gender, age, age distribution, course of disease,Qi deficiency type constipation before treatment TCM syndrome observationtable score before treatment, Knowles-Eccersley-Scott symptom score(KESS)before treatmen, total score quality of life questionnaire (PAC-QOL)ofconstipation patients, statistical significance (P>0.05), express two groupsshowed comparable. Evaluation of curative effect:Both Granule Moxibustion combineacupuncture group and the group only treatment by acupuncture can effectivelyimprove the symptoms of constipation in patients. Experience group recovery3 objects, markedly 13 objects, effective 10 objects, invalid 9 objects, the total efficiency 86.67%, the more significant rate53.33%; control grouprecovery 2 objects, markedly 9 objects, effective 12 objects, invalid 7 objects, the total efficiency 76.67%, the more significant rate 36.67%. Afterexamination the total effective rate of the two groups, P<0.05, the differencewas statistically significant, express clinical effect of the treatmentgroup was better than that of the control group. Qi deficiency typeconstipation syndrome observation table, KESS score and the total scorequestionnaire on quality of life in patients with constipation (PAC-QOL) oftwo group, before and after treatment the P value is equal to 0 (P<0.001),the differences were highly statistically significant, display two groups aresignificantly lower total score, show both two treatments can be effectivein improving symptom chronic functional constipation due to deficiency ofQi. Compare above three scales total score after treatment in the two groupsP<0.05, the difference was statistically significant, the results showed thatthe total score of the experimental group was better than that of the control group, show Triple Point Granule Moxibustion combine acupuncture treatment is more effective than only acupuncture treatment for improving chronic functional constipation due to deficiency of Qi.conclusion:Using Triple Point Granule Moxibustion combine acupuncture treatment chronic functional constipation due to deficiency of Qi is safe and effective, the whole curative effect is better than the only acupuncture treatment in this study.
