The Retrospective Study On Professor Guo Lizhong’s Therapeutic Methods Of Yang Strengthening And Kidney Essence Supplementation Based On Data Mining

[Objective] Starting from Professor Guo’s latest outpatient treatment record on Yang strengthening and kidney essence supplementation, equipped by contemporary computer data mining technology as research method, law and experience of such are analyzed in order to bring out this therapy’s historical significance, to deepen the theoretical understanding, and to present new thinking method of Chinese medicine’s clinical treatment on internal organ’s miscellaneous diseases.[Method] Through reference to ancient and modern literature, enhance the understanding of Yang strengthening and kidney essence supplementation. Collect, organize and build on Professor Guo’s outpatient treatment record on Yang strengthening and kidney essence supplementation from December 2012 to June 2015.510 cases,1675 pieces of treatment record are screened out by inclusive and exclusive criteria. Medcase V3.2 storehouse and medical record national physician pulse case data mining system software, pretreatment, information incorporation and collection, data processing and other steps are taken so as to analyze the illnesses,clinical symptoms, pathogenesis, lingual arteries and veins, drug,and the relativity in between. Results are drawn and summarized.[Result] Out of the 510 cases,1675 pieces of treatment record in aggregate, female patients are three times that of male. All ages are afflicted indiscriminately. The prime patients lie in the 20 to 69 age group, out of which the 40s are the most (502 pieces, accounting for 29.97%).142 kinds of symptoms are recorded, and the most repeated are fatigue weakness (36.9%)、Poor sleep soundly (26.6%)、afraid of the cold (22.4%)、waist ache (21.4%).54 tongue manifestations turn up, and the top six are light red tongue (37.3%)、thin white fur (27.1%)、light tongue (25.1%)、tooth marks on sides (17.8%)、white oily fur(14.5%)、fat tongue (13.1%) 32 kinds of pulse conditions are recorded, and the top ten are thin pulse (46.5%)、feeble/weak pulse (36.3%)、tight pulse (35.0%)、deep pulse (31.8%). smooth pulse (22.8%)、feeble/weak chi pulse (21.8%)、floating pulse (8.3%)、taut pulse (6.9%). rapid pulse (5.6%), among which weak pulse appeared much more than forceful pulse for 2288 times.114 disease names of traditional Chinese medicine are mentioned, among which kidney overstrain (8.5%)、 anemogenous nephropathy(7.1%)、consumptive disease(4.8%)、symptom-complex of excessive eating(4.3%)、arthromyodynia(4.3%)take up the largest proportion, whereas 213 disease names of western medicine are mentioned, among which coincidentally chronic renal insufficiency (6.88%)、chronic nephritis (6.75%)、irregular menses (6.70%)、Type 2 diabetes mellitus (4.0%) are most frequently mentioned.139 types of pathogenesis come into view, the interpretation of Yang insufficiency and essence scarcity appear with a high frequency of 1176(70.2%) times, with which almost on a par is the interpretation of transformation incapability from essence to Qi for 1120(66.9%) times, and syndrome of deficiency of Yang Qi, taking up the third place, only appears 165 times(9.8%).99 medicines are prescribed, among which Zhifupian、Zhigancao are used 100% of the time, Shenghuangqi、Shengbaizhu、Sharen、 Yinyanghuo、Bajitian、Dangsheng、Tusizi above 99%, and Shengjiang、Ganjiang、 Weishengjiang、Paojiang are used in all for 102.21%. As regards internal association, in terms of clinical symptom, poor sleep soundly and fatigue weakness、afraid of the cold and fatigue weakness indicate the highest correlation; in terms of tongue manifestation, thin white fur and light red tongue indicate the highest correlation; in terms of pulse condition, deep pulse and thin pulse indicate the highest correlation; in terms of pathogenesis,failure in functioning of QI and essence deficiency of Yang deficiency indicate the highest correlation.[Conclusion]1 Yang strengthening and kidney essence supplementation is widely applicable for all ages, most of which are middle-aged female patients.2 Yang strengthening and kidney essence supplementation is often applied for the clinical features of fatigue weakness、Poor sleep soundly、afraid of the cold、waist ache, for before or after the menstrual period of female, and also for those who feel no obvious discomfort after treatment.Yang strengthening and kidney essence supplementation are mostly employed when the tongue manifestation is light red tongue、thin white fur、light tongue、tooth marks on sides、 white oily fur、fat tongue. Yang strengthening and kidney essence supplementation are mostly employed when the pulse condition is thin pulse、feeble/weak pulse, to its specialty of feeble /weak chi pulse.3 Yang strengthening and kidney essence supplementation treatment is mainly applied when pathogenesis shows the incapability of transformation from essence to Qi due to Yang insufficiency and essence scarcity.4 The core medicines prescribed by Professor Guo when employs Yang strengthening and kidney essence supplementation method are Zhifupian、Jiang(Shengjiang、Ganjiang、Weishengjiang、 Paojiang)、Sheng(Dangsheng、Shengshaisheng、Hongsheng)、Shenghuangqi、Shengbaizhu、 Sharen、Yinyanghuo、Bajitian、Tusizi、Zhigancao.Pay attention to congenital and acquired、 essence supplementation; and Qi transformation at the same time.
