Study On The Law Of Syndrome And Treatment Of Miscellaneous Diseases In Synopsis Of The Golden Chamber

Objective: The etiology theory of "latent pathogen" plays an important role in the occurrence and development of Treatise on Cold Damage and Miscellaneous Diseases.Huangdi's Internal Classic is the origin of the theory of "latent pathogen" in traditional Chinese medicine,and Zhang Zhongjing's Treatise on Cold Damage and Miscellaneous Diseases in Han Dynasty was the first to apply the theory to the specific clinical treatment of miscellaneous internal damage diseases.For example,Minor Green-Blue Dragon Decoction syndrome of external cold and internal rheum,Minor Bupleurum Decoction syndrome of heat entering the blood chamber,latent fluid retention,persistent fluid retention and internal edema in Synopsis of the Golden chamber,etc.In order to more objectively and scientifically elaborate the theory of latent pathogen in Zhongjing's miscellaneous diseases.From the Synopsis of the Golden chamber,it is proposed to extract,analyze and sort out the relevant chapters and articles related to the theory of "latent pathogen",and preliminarily summarize Zhongjing's syndrome and treatment rules for latent pathogen and its future development,so as to provide basis for clinical treatment.Methods: The method of literature study was used in this project.To sum up the theory of latent pathogenl in Huangdi's Internal Classic and Synopsis of the Golden chamber.(1)The combination of machine examination and hand examination,first of all,through consulting Shuo Wen Jie Zi,Dictionary of Traditional Chinese Medicine,Chinese Medical Code and Unabridged Dictionary of Traditional Chinese Medicine,the connotation of the concept of "latent pathogen" is defined,and the relevant literature is determined.(2)Compare the articles related to "latent pathogen" in Huangdi's Internal Classic,analyze and classify them,and find out the rules.(3)Through logical analysis and comparison,this paper summarizes the contents of Synopsis of the Golden chamber about the latent pathogen and the above laws.In order to make a preliminary exploration in the etiology field of Zhongjing's theory of miscellaneous Internal damage diseases caused by pathogenic factors.Results:(1)According to the theory of "latent pathogen" in Huangdi's Internal Classic,it is found that the generation of latent pathogen is related to vital qi deficiency and disharmony of Qi and blood;the pathogenesis of latent pathogen can be divided into induction and spontaneity;the characteristics of latent pathogen's concealment are not only relative stability,but also stage wandering;the types of latent pathogen can be roughly divided into external contraction and miscellaneous diseases.(2)By referring to the definitions of "Fu" and "Gu" in the reference books such as Origin of Chinese Characters,the Dictionary of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Chinese Medical Code.It is found that there are two similar concepts of "latent pathogen" and "old pathogen" in Huangdi's Internal Classic.(3)Sorting out the relevant articles of "latent pathogen" in "Synopsis of the Golden Chamber",we can roughly conclude that the pathogenic forms of latent pathogen are spontaneous and induced.Spontaneous attack of latent pathogen are disorder of qi movement and nutrient-defense disharmony.There are many inducing factors,which can be affected by five evolutive phases and six climatic factors,external evil,bad habits,mistreatment,long-term lodging of other pathogenic factors.(4)In the Synopsis of the Golden Chamber,there are also relative stability and stage migration in the hiding characteristics of latent pathogen.According to the analysis of the articles,the relative stability of latent pathogen mostly occurs in the early stage of the excess pattern.As one of the pathogenic pathogens,latent pathogen also has the characteristics of transmission and migration.Therefore,under the condition of vital qi deficiency,latent pathogen has the characteristics of stage migration.(5)The classification of latent pathogen in Synopsis of the Golden Chamber can be roughly divided into six types: latent pathogen of six evils,latent pathogen of poison when the disease is severe,latent pathogen of old disease.In addition,Zhongjing also expounds the content of "latent pathogen" from the diagnostic characteristics of four diagnoses,constitution diagnosis and special diagnosis.The author found that Zhongjing mentioned two similar concepts of “Fuyin” and “Liuyin” in the chapter of phlegm and cough disease,and made a differential diagnosis of them according to the original text.(6)According to the articles of "Synopsis of the Golden Chamber",it is found that Zhongjing's great method of treating latent pathogen is nothing more than the treatment of the root and tip,the treatment of the exterior and interior,and the treatment of reinforcing the healthy qi and eliminating the pathogenic.Conclusion:(1)Taking Huangdi's Internal Classic as the breakthrough point,this paper studies the origin,position and type of latent pathogen.From the overall point of view of the generation and development of latent pathogen,the primary conditions and inducing conditions of latent pathogen influence each other.The primary conditions will affect the inducing conditions,and the latent pathogen in the body tend to choose the external inducing conditions.In the same way,induced conditions aggravate primary conditions.The pathogenic form of latent pathogen needs external inducement to stimulate the attack,and it can also accumulate spontaneously.The pathogenic transmission of latent pathogen also follows the law of five elements and the rule of engendering,restraining,overwhelming and rebelling.(2)The classification of latent pathogen in Huangdi's Internal Classic can be divided into two categories: external contraction of latent pathogen and miscellaneous diseases of latent pathogen.Among them,exogenous pathogens can be divided into six excesses and epidemic toxin,which is the focus of the development of later warm disease schools.There are three kinds of thoughts about the miscellaneous disease of latent pathogen,that is,the congenital latent pathogen,the endogenous pathogen and latent pathogen left by the old diseases.(3)There are 39 times to find the original text of "Gu Xie" in Huangdi's Internal Classic.Through comparative analysis,it is concluded that the concept of "Gu Xie" in Huangdi's Internal Classic is equivalent to the concept of general latent pathogen.(4)This paper studies the original text of the pathogenesis of latent pathogen in Synopsis of the Golden Chamber,and finds that it inherits some thoughts of latent pathogen in Huangdi's internal classic.For example,in the description of latent pathogen's spontaneity,it emphasizes the influence of the disorder of qi movement and nutrient-defense disharmony;in the factors that induce latent pathogen,it emphasizes the influence of external factors such as four seasons,five evolutive phases and six climatic factors,erroneous and wrong treatment on the pathogenesis of latent pathogen.Based on the clinical observation and experience accumulation,Zhongjing has enriched the contents related to the latent pathogen.For example,in the factors that induce the pathogen concealment,in addition to the external causes such as four seasons,five evolutive phases and six climatic factors,erroneous and wrong treatment,Zhongjing has also emphasized the influence of self causes such as bad habits on the pathogen concealment.(5)By sorting out the original text of the Synopsis of the Golden Chamber,the author finds that the affect the wandering in the stage of latent pathogen,such as "incubation towards deficiency" due to deficiency of vital energy;incubation according to the law of five elements and the rule of engendering,restraining,overwhelming and rebelling;and incubation due to individual differences.It's complex,the research should not be confined to the depth of the underlying parts,but should pay more attention to the length of time and frequency of attack from the time when the latent pathogens were hidden.(6)By summing up the classification of latent pathogen in Synopsis of the Golden Chamber,we can also find that it can be divided into external contraction of latent pathogen and miscellaneous diseases of latent pathogen.Zhongjing explained the pathogenesis of the disease with different diagnosis methods,and in Synopsis of the Golden Chamber,he mainly used the inspection and pulse diagnosis as the basis to reflect the pathogenic factors.According to the description of "various kinds of people" in Synopsis of the Golden Chamber,the author divides physique into pathological physique and physiological physique,and the premise of different pathological physique is to subdue pathogenic factors.Therefore,the author infers that some pathogenic factors are related to different pathological physique induced by external pathogenic factors.Through the analysis of the relevant articles of "prolonged fluid retention" and "recurrent fluid retention",it is proved that "prolonged fluid retention" and "recurrent fluid retention" belong to latent pathogen.Zhongjing was appointed because of their different forms of disease.(7)In Zhongjing's Synopsis of the Golden Chamber,there are various kinds of syndrome and treatment related to latent pathogen,among which,according to the thought of "treating root and accompanying symptoms simultaneously for mild case,treating severe case with focal method",the corresponding treatment of the root and tip and the exterior and the interior are carried out;according to the slow onset of latent pathogen,the treatment principle of "symptomatic treatment in acute condition,radical treatment in chronic case";according to the spontaneous characteristics of latent pathogen,the treatment method of "reinforce the healthy qi and eliminate the pathogenic factors" includes the method of drawing Yang qi,harmonize the nutrient and defense,strengthen the spleen.According to the characteristics of the pathogenic substance induced by the underlying pathogenic factors,the methods of eliminating pathogenic factors include sweating,vomiting,purgation,harmonization,warming,clearing heat,dispersing manipulation,etc.A variety of exorcism methods have been applied to expel the potential pathogens.
