ObjectiveTo Analyses the serum levels of Vitamin A and Vitamin D in children with pneumonia and the connections with pneumonia and recurrent respiratory tract infectionsMethodsSelecting 88 cases of children with pneumonia hospitalized in Chongqing medical university affiliated children’s hospital of respiratory center.Testing the serum levels of vitamin A and vitamin D.Selecting their hospitalized messages and the frequency of respiratory tract infections among one year.(1)the comparison of serum levels of vitamin A and vitamin D between different genders and ages.(2)By the average serum levels of vitamin A in children for reference, analysis of the serum levels of vitamin A in children with pneumonia.(3)By the average serum levels of vitamin D in children for reference, analysis of the serum levels of vitamin D in children with pneumonia.(4)88 cases of children with pneumonia is divided into intensive group and ordinary group according to severity of disease, comparison of serum levels of Vitamin A 、 D between the two groups.(5)Divided into vitamin A deficiency group, suspicious subclinicalvitamin A deficiency group and normal group according to the serum levels of vitamin A,comparison of the rates of recurrent respiratory tract infections in groups.(6)comparison of the serum levels of vitamin D between RRI group and non-RRI group.Resultsthe serum levels of vitamin A、D between different genders and ages are no statistical difference(P > 0.05); the serum levels of vitamin A、D in children with pneumonia are lower than the average levels. Serum levels of vitamin A、D in intensive group are lower than normal group(P < 0.05);the rates of recurrent respiratory tract infections in vitamin A deficiency group are higher than normal group; Serum levels of vitamin D in RRI group are lower than non-RRI group(P < 0.05).ConclusionThe serum levels of vitamin A、D in children with pneumonia have nothing to do with gender and age. The serum levels of vitamin A、D in children with pneumonia are lower. The vitamin A、D levels in children with pneumonia are related to the disease degree and the risk of reinfection after disease.the vitamin A 、 D levels are lower,it is more easy for the development of intensive pneumonia, and the risk of reinfection after disease is higher.
