Objective To investigate the correlation between BNP levels and parameters of ventricular remodeling 、 heart functiong of Children with dilated cardiomyopathy. Provided a more effective evaluation of cardiac function in children with DCM and severity of heart failure, providing these patients with personalized treatment.Method From Januray 2004 to Januray 2016,79 cases in Children’s Hospital of Chongqing Medical University whom at the same time meet the diagnostic criteria of dilated cardiomyopathy and heart failure,Simultaneous measurement of serum BNP, Modified ROSS score were used to evaluated these patients’ s cardiac function,measure the BNP,parameters of ventricular remodeling(including LVEDd,LVEDd,LA,RV,IVSD,LVPWD,LVEF) were retrospectively analyzed.Use the Pearson correlation analysis and ANOVA in SPSS.Results With the increased level of cardiac function, BNP levels increased, and the difference was statistically significant;LVEF was negatively correlated with LVEDd( R=-0.560),LVEF was positivelycorrelated with IVSD and LVPWD(The R are 0.419,0.441);BNP was negatively correlated with IVSD,LVPWD and LVEF(The R are-0.452,-0.471,-0.371),BNP was positively correlated with LVEDd(R=0.365).Conclusion BNP levels can be used to assess the extent of cardiac function and ventricular remodeling in Pediatric patients with dilated cardiomyopathy patients with heart failure,in order to determine the degree of development of heart failure.
