Development Of Quality Of Life Scale For Acne Patients With Traditional Chinese Medicine Feature

Objective:To initial develop quality of life(QOL) scale for acne patients with Traditional Chinese Medicine feature and evaluate curative effects of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)on acne disease vompletely and impersonally. Results of this study will enrich the quality of life of Chinese medicine evaluation of content.Methods:In accordance with WHO principle of quality of life scale,we should creat the preliminary scale in combining traditional Chinese medicine basic theory, using domestic and foreign variety exclusive articles and acne quality of life scale for refernce and structured decision-making methods to put forward the ideal scale.110 acne patients were tested in the way of investigation.We have use method of discrete trends, correlation analysis, factor analysis, reaction analysis,to choose entries in multi-dimensional.Results:The final version of QOL of TCM questionnaire on ACNE includ 30 items which were divided into 3 subscales, including functional, emotional and society. And in line with the theoretical concept,the study come out such result:the 24h aftering test-retest reliability for 0.901, Croabach’s a coefficient of 0.852, Split-half reliability of 0.816, factor analysis extracted 5 common factor, and the cumulative variance contribution rate of 58.752%,the first common factor for acne on the psychological factors, the contribution rate of variance was 16.437%. Some dimensions and total score correlation coefficient was between 0.731～0.913.Conclusion:It is feasible to develop a TCM characteristic QOL scale of ANCE which abide to the building principle of the received scale and the basis theory of TCM. ANQOLS is reliable and effective version which has Chinese medicine characteristics, can be used as acne clinical evaluation tool.
