Study On Development A Traditional Chinese Medicine Questionnaire Of Quality Of Life On Psoriasis

Background:Nowadays,Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)therapies not only have good effects on treated Psoriasis,but also emerges its advantages in the quality of life(QOL)of patients While if we use those scales to evaluate the effects of TCM,it is inappropriate.It is difficult to assess the treatment superiorty of Traditional Chinese Medicine,especially in the field of QOL because the difference between the backgrounds of economy, culture and society of the two medical science systems,if we use index or scale of the western medicine to evaluate the Psoriasis patients' clinical outcome treated with TCM To make these advantages approved by Western Medication.objective:To develop the rraditionalese Medicine(TCM)characteristic quality of life(QOL)scale for completely and objectively evaluate the clilic efeects of TCM on the Patienis with Psoriasis.Methods:To assesst heinitial TCM Psoriasis Disease QOL questionnaireand general data of patients,adopt clinical cases follow-upsurveying methods,which is based on the process of QOL questionnairedevelopment and TCM pattern (zhenghou)of PD.And screening the TCM QOLitems by statistics though SPSSI3.0.Results:1.The final version of QOL of TCM questionnaireon Psoriasis diseasein cluding 25 items,which were divided into 4 subscales,including functional, emotional,society and environment.2.the Cronbach' a reliability of the whole scale was 0.812,and the test-retest reliability The Cronbach' a is 0.869 3.The scale have good correlation with PASI and DLQI.Conclusion:discuss all the questions we met during the developing process of this TCM questionnaire,and principles of capacity Charts making will be the principles of TCM QOL questionnaire has been confirmed.
