“The bamboo slips of Tsinghua(a)”’s unearthed was significant. It retains the Chinesevocabulary, grammar history of the late Warring States Period for us, it’s significant for thestudy of grammar and the Chinese lexical history. This paper conducted exhaustive research forthe kinds of words,which mainly used the method of quantitative and qualitative analysis andthe combining of description and interpretation,mainly discusses the word’s features.Hope tomake our own contribution for the dating of grammar study of Warring States in the late.This paper will divide the words into two major categories: content words and functionwords. And each category of content words and function words are detailed classification,at thesame time, we will describe the grammatical function, characteristics and grammatical meaningin detail of each category of content words and function words.Through the research,we foundthat “the bamboo slips of Tsinghua(a)”’s words give priority to monosyllabic words,wordconversion phenomenon is universal.Polysyllabic nouns are the most disyllabic words in allkinds of words; Only have the Cardinal words, no ordinal and multiple words,quantifiers areonly1.
