Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages is a new degree set up byMinistry of Education and it aims at training professional teachers to teach Chinese as asecond language all over the world. It focuses more on the practical applicability. As a studentin this major, I took part in the “Chinese Island” program held by Sookmyung Women’sUniversity in Korea to be an intern teaching the female undergraduates and graduates whowere on basic level at the Chinese language. Through the exercitation, I came across someproblems that deserved thinking and researching, among which the most impressive two areabout the auxiliary “De”. One is whether it is necessary for the structural particle “De” toappear in the “personal pronoun+(De)+noun” structure. The other is the usage of “De” as anaspectual particle, including the compare with the usage of “Le”. I objectively demonstratethem in the form of case analysis, and then through rethinking profoundly to analyze the twocases and find out the problems as well as points that can be improved. Next, by explainingthe linguistic theory of the Chinese language to give a theory support, I will give my ownteaching countermeasure, redesign the teaching scheme and finally conclude some applicablegeneral principles of teaching Chinese as a second language in elementary class. Throughsuch a process, I expect to solve specific problems arisen from the international Chinese classas well as discover these useful general principles. This is a way to make my own effort to thedevelopment of the international Chinese language education.
