The auxiliary word “de” is the most frequently-used function word in modern Chinese. The concealing and revealing of Chinese auxiliary “de” is both critical and difficult for many Chinese learners. In the field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, the glinting of “de” is one of the most difficult problems for Kyrgyz students who are eager to learn Chinese well.Basing on the pre-study achievements, this thesis mainly studies the concealing and revealing rules of the Chinese auxiliary “de” from the perspectives of teaching Chinese as a foreign language. We reveals the concealing and revealing basic principles and reasons based on our explanations of relevant linguistic phenomena.On this base, we can have an overall view of glinting “de”. This thesis attempts to summarize their error distribution regularity and error types when Kyrgyz students learning and using the auxiliary “de” by making using of the graphical method, the observation method, the method of comparative analysis and the test. The main reasons caused to their errors that are concluded in this thesis include: short of understanding,negative transfer of their mother languages, over simplification and some other reasons. Through a great meticulous corpus collection and analysis of the survey of Kyrgyz students’ acquisition of the concealing and revealing of the auxiliary“de” in different types of attributive sets, we sum up the difficulty level. Finally,when the crux of the problem combined together with former research results,we try to put forward a series of recommendations on textbooks, reference materials,teachers and teaching methods, to be viewed as part of our contribution towards Chinese teaching.
