Chinese Dialects Special Quantifier And Quantifier Special Usage Comparative Investigation

Dialect quantifier is an important component of the Chinese dialect. It reflected an importantfeature of the dialects. Nearly twenty and thirty years, the research about dialect quantifier wastaken more and more scholars’ attention, but most of the existing research tends to individualaspects, or on special quantifier in somewhere dialects, or research somewhere in the dialect of thequantifier special usage, makes a comprehensive comparative study is not much. This paperfocuses on comprehensive comparative study in the Chinese dialects and the special usage ofspecial quantifiers. The quantity of the dialect quantifier is various and the usage is complicated. Tocarry out this topic research, collecting corpus is the primary work. In this paper, based on LiRongEd. Modern Chinese dialect dictionary and XuBaoHua GongTian ichiro editor Chinese dialectdictionary the two large dialect dictionary of the collection of quantifier as a source of corpusIn this paper, based on the special dialect quantifier and quantifier special usage was defined,and illustrated with examples. The so-called dialect special quantifier, are those unique quantifierfor certain dialects not found in modern Chinese. The so-called quantifier special usage, refers toquantifier which were included in modern Chinese dialect, but the usage in the dialect has differentfrom modern Chinese. Then from the dialect quantifier geographical differences, the quantifierdifference between mandarin and dialect, dialect quantifier color difference and so on three aspectsto investigate the quantifier dialect particularity, complexity and flexibility. At last, this articleanalyzes the causes for the difference of the dialect quantifier, think that the way of differentsources of quantifier, the difference of language inherited and language contact and languagecognitive are the two big reasons for dialect special quantifier and quantifier special usage.Dialect special quantifier and the special usage of quantifier is the reflection to the regional inChinese dialect. Dialect special quantifier reflected the difference between dialects, quantifierspecial usage reflects the differences between dialects and modern Chinese. This paper useshorizontal comparison and longitudinal investigation method, attempt to make in-depth analysison the system for the dialect special quantifier and quantifier special usage, so as to provides someuseful reference material for the research of the Chinese dialects quantifier and Chinese quantifiers.
