Western Marxism, generally refers to the1920s produced in western Europeancountries, arguing that in the real historical review, interpreting the radical thoughts ofMarxism and its using method of study is different from "Soviet"-"Lenin, Stalin type"method. In International academic world, first proposed the concept of "Western Marxism"is by Germany philosopher Cole, however, accepted by most scholars is defined by Merlot-Ponti.Lukacs is regarded as the founder of Western Marxism, because Mello-Ponti in"the adventures of dialectics" dates the Western Marxist back to the Hungarian in "historyand class consciousness" published by Lukacs.But Lukacs himself didn’t admit to it.Western Marxism has not produced guidance or guiding ideology approved by mostscholars in the process of production and the development.Most western marxist theoristshave very strong theoretical background, study the text of Maxism traditional classic verycarefully, and combine academic theory with Maxism research which producednumerous genre of Western Marxism, such as Science of Western Marxism, Structuralism,Analysis of Marxism and Marxism of Ecological Marxism, the Marxist Feminism and theDeconstruction of Marxism, etc.In the1980s, the study of Western Marxism is started officially by theoretical cyclein China,. The main reason is that compared to many genres of western modern philosophy,Western Marxism with Marxist theory background and unique critical spirit and reflectionhas great significance in researching and explaining the realistic problems faced inChina.Since reform and opening up, China’s western Marxist research generally hasexperienced the stage of introduction, translation, slow development and harmoniousdevelopment. Studies of western Marxism has achieved rich fruits in the educational world,but most of scholars in our country will be confined to part of the theory of westernMarxism view, some characters, such as part of the work point, few experts will face ofwestern Marxism, as a historical research, applying the essence of Western Marxism toanalyze the realistic problems in our country the guidance of experts. This paper aims to carry out statistical analysis on the key words about WesternMarxism published in the "Philosophy","Dynamic Philosophy","Marxist Study"combining with the reality of the hot spot after the reform and open policy, summarizingthe evolution of Western Marxist research in China, exploring the theoretical researchresults of Western Marxism to the Chinese socialist construction.
