Kazak is one of the55ethnic minorities in china. According to the2012nationalcensus the total population was1557000, in addition, people mainly distributes inYili is located in the north of Xinjiang Kazak Autonomous Prefecture of Tacheng,Yili, Aletai three areas and Changji Hui Autonomous County Mori KazakAutonomous State and Hami Barkol Kazak Autonomous County of two AutonomousCounty, Qinghai Province, the minority living in Gansu province Aksay county.Most of the Kazakh people engaged in animal husbandry, except for a fewengaged in agriculture or settled, nearly80%of the population lived of nomadic lifein the pastoral areas, is a history of the typical nomadic. The formation of this way oflife to the folk custom and the nomadic mode of production is the relationship andclose. Has important effects unique to these forms in the long-term development ofthe Kazak folk and Kazak nomadic way of production of Kazak herdsmen in sociallife and development.This article is mainly on the content of the paper: the first is the researchsignificance, review of research literature, the theme and the basic framework,research methods are introduced; secondly, the influence of folk customs and folkcustom plays in economic development, are introduced; then some aspects of themain body of the Kazak folk customs the traditional mode of production, marriage,funeral, religion, festivals, folk arts and crafts, such as description, and try to lead theeconomy of a pasturing area; the last is the conclusion, summarizes thecountermeasures to change the Kazak people economic situation.Study on overall folk customs can give people explain a nation in the naturaldevelopment process performance to see a national folk culture in the futuredevelopment in the growing and increasingly complex society. In addition to thetraditional custom of their power adjustment, an element of government policy is notto be despised. Influence of folk customs, to a large extent depends on the localgovernment to the folk custom culture and values in the national guidelines andpolicies.
