The legend Ferhad and Shirin is widely spread around theliterature of eastern people, which is basically Uyghur literature sincethe ancient times. It gradually began to appear in folk literature, andthen it has become one of the terms of written literature. Ferhad andShirin was originally known as Husraw and Shirin among the Easternoral literature and lately seeped into the written literary. Meanwhileplot of the love Dastan`s transition developed from written to oralliterature and became a well-known story.Ferhad and Shirin legend in the process of maturing, beyond thelanguage, ethnic and cultural boundaries, it developed with thenational culture and artistic skills of the Oriental people. This Dastanrarely ingrained in Persia, Azerbaijan, India, Uzbekistan, Uygur andother ethnic literature, especially Uighur literature. During the fivecenturies, the love Dastan accorded into Uighur literature withNavayi`s pen since15th century, it has been widely disseminated andre-created. And it has been prosed and re-created by some Uyghurwriters such as Omer Bake Yarkendii, Molla Sidiq Yarkendii, Nizari,Nimshehid. The literature subjected to the Ferhad and Shirin`s Dastanform and legend form especially spread around the Uighur people.This article consists of an introduction, epilogue and three chapters ofmain content.The introduction demonstrated that the context of the same topicwhich is legend of Uyghur’s Ferhad and Shirin in and out of Chinawhile it also discussed the method of researching, the main problem itwill solve the trend of the research.In the first chapter, there is analysis of the historical sources ofFerhad and Shirin, and description of Ferhad and Shirin which hadbeen written by Persia–Azerbaijani, Uyghur classical writers.The second chapter analyzes the consistency and distinctionFerhad and Shirin. legends and Dastan’s image, plot, genre aspects.The third chapter delouses how Uyghur authors use the motifswhich more seen in Uyghur folk stories, themes and Dastan toenhance the authenticity of the characteristics in the Ferhad andShirin and it also delouse the lateral assimilation of folk and writtenliterature.
