The Uyghur folk of Dastan has a long history and various contents,it's the significant part of Uyghur's literature.Dastan has a unique status in Uyghur literature as it manifests in various way and has it's own plentiful content.Uyghur people have verbally recorded the myth,history,story,and folk song,which narrated the national hero and history of Uyghur people.Due to the long term spread andcollective processing and refining,it has reached the highest level,whether in content or artistic field.It's reflect the social themes,customs and language features base on the typical character feature and plot.Therefore,research on the Dastan known as a complicated and painstaking work.This article mainly use the method of analysis,comparison,summary,literature,translation to make asystematic research on variant,motif,poetry,rhetoric mode of Dastan which call the Bozkurpash and Karasaq Ayim.This article takes the Bozkurpash and Karasaq Ayim in the publication called the Selection of Uyghur folk literature which authored by Galip Barat,Moyiden Sayit as the research object.This paper is composed of four parts:introduction,text,epilogue,appendix.The part of the epilogue includes research meaning and academic value,research situation at home and abroad,the core search method and comparison common sign and modern Uyghur language.The first chapter is about the main contents and variant of DaStan,the comparison of Uyghur folk Dastan Bozkurpash and Karasaq Ayim and the Kazakh Folk Dastan Kuz kurpesh and Bayan Sulu.The second chapter mainly analyzes the motif of Bozkurpash and Karasaq Ayim.Using the motif index of the famous American scholar Stith Thompson,Motif-Index of Folk-Literature masterpiece,to analyze the types of motif in the whole part of Dastan and point out the relative examples.The third chapter mainly analyzes the poetry of Dastan.This chapter is divided into two sections which separately analyze the prosodic features and metrical features of poetry and point out the role of poetry in the Dastan.The fourth chapter mainly analyzes the rhetorical pattern of Dastan.This chapter lists out the rhetoric mode in Dastan based on rhetorical theory.and finds out the corresponding examples and the functions of each rhetoric theory.The final part includes summary and appendix.The appendix is mainly about the translation of Bozkurpash and Karasaq Ayim,and the transfer of Turkic language common sign.
