Cyber deviance behavior refers to the misconduct behavior that people deviate from normalnetwork life including violation of online ethics and breaking the online rules. College studentsare the most coneentrate deommunity in internet use and undergraduates’ cyber deviance behavioris very common. But the concern about college students’ cyber deviance behavior is not enoughand there is lack of assessment tools. Therefore, research on undergraduates’ cyber deviancebehavior not only enrich the content of internet psychology, but also provide the theoreticaldirection for internet moral education of college students.This dissertation tried to construct the psychological structure of undergraduates’ cyberdeviance behavior, then developed a questionnaire of cyber deviance behavior which fitted collegestudents, and made an empirical study on its influence factors by using the questionnaire. As aresult, this dissertation had two big tasks: one task was to develop the cyber deviance behaviorquestionnaire of undergraduates. Theories and techniques of psyehological measurement such asClassical Test Theory, and Structural Equation Model were used to ensure the high quality of thequestionnaire. The other task was to explore the relationship between college students’ cyberdeviance behavior, egocentrism and social support by making use of Structural Equation Model.The research results outlined below:(1) Based on investigation and analysis of college students, the theoretical structure ofundergraduates’ cyber deviance behavior had been put forward. Cyber deviance behavior ofcollege undergraduates contained four factors: cyber-intercourse deviance behavior, cyber-speechdeviance behavior, cyber-use deviance behavior and cyber-pornography behavior.(2) The results of Classical Test Theory indicated: the undergraduates’ cyber deviance behaviorquestionnaire contained19items that belonged to four factors. These four factors were namedcyber-intercourse deviance behavior, cyber-speech deviance behavior, cyber-use deviancebehavior and cyber-pornography behavior and were in agreement with the theoretical idea whichwas proposed before.(3) The Cronbach’s alpha coefficient of the undergraduates’ cyber deviance behaviorquestionnaire was0.90and the Cronbach’s alpha coefficient of the four factors were range from0.76to0.86. The split-half coefficient and test-retest reliability for the questionnaire were0.83and0.77. Confirmatory factor analysis indicated that structural validity of the questionnaire was ideal. The questionnaire and four factors were positively correlated with teenagers’ onlinedeviance behavior scale. It showed criterion validity of the questionnaire was good. In summary,the reliability and validity of the undergraduates’ cyber deviance behavior questionnaire weregood, it could be used as an effective tool to assess the cyber deviance behavior of undergraduates.(4) The result of difference tests indicated that significant gender differences, grade differencesand the only child differences were found in cyber deviance behavior. Boys had done more cyberdeviance behavior than girls. Junior had done cyber deviance behavior obviously more than thefreshman and sophomore students. In addtion, there was positive correlation between cyberdeviance behavior and online time per week, net age.(5) Structural Equation Model was used to make a study on the relationship between collegestudents’ cyber deviance behavior, egocentrism and social support. Results showed thategocentrism have a significant direct effect to cyber deviance behavior, and social support playeda partial intermediary role in the relationship between egocentrism and cyber deviance behavior.(6) The mainly innovation of this dissertation was:(l) It proposed the psychological structure ofundergraduates’cyber deviance behavior.(2) It used Classical Test Theory and Structural EquationModel to develop a high-quality the undergraduates’ cyber deviance behavior questionnaire.(3)Make an empirical study on the relationship between college students’ cyber deviance behavior,egocentrism and social support.
