Research objectives: Experiment1studies whether introversive andextroversive college students’ implicit attitude towards emotion regulationhave difference or not. Experiment2studies whether different induced emotioninfluence introversive and extroversive college students’ implicit attitudetowards emotion regulation or not. Research methods: The study chooses60introversive college students and60extroversive college students byIntroversive and Extroversive Scale. Experiment1uses self-complied ImplicitAttitude Test of Emotion Regulation (ER-IAT) to explore the difference ofintroversive and extroversive college students’ implicit attitude towardsemotion regulation; Experiment2induces introversive and extroversivecollege students’ negative emotion and positive emotion by two movie clips, and then explores whether different induced emotion influence introversiveand extroversive college students’ implicit attitude towards emotion regulationor not. Research conclusions: Conclusions of the study by two experimentsare as follow:(1)Different gender college students’ implicit attitude towards emotionregulation don’t exist significant difference.(2)Introversive college students hold positive implicit attitude toemotional control, while extroversive college students hold positive implicitattitude to emotional expression.(3)Compared with male introversive college students, female introversive college students hold positive implicit attitude to emotional expression. Butdifferent genders extroversive college students’ implicit attitude towardsemotion regulation don’t exist significant difference.(4)The degree of positive of female college students’ implicit attitudetowards emotion regulation decrease after different induced emotion; theinfluence of induced negative emotion is larger. The influence of differentinduced emotion to male college students’ implicit attitude towards emotionregulation doesn’t exist significant difference.(5)The degree of positive of introversive college students’ implicitattitude towards emotion regulation rise after induced negative emotion, and itdoesn’t change after induced positive emotion; the influence of inducednegative emotion is larger. The degree of positive of extroversive collegestudents’ implicit attitude towards emotion regulation decrease after differentinduced emotion; but the influence doesn’t exist significant difference.
