The Research Of Risk Perception And Environmental Behavior Of Protecting Air Condition

This study aimed to explore the dimension of public risk perception’s level andenvironmental behavior of air quality, and check whether the public risk perception topredict their environmental behavior. It’s survey491inhabitants of Nanchangsuccessively. The questionnaires are 《Public Risk Perception Questionnaire》 and《Public Protect the Environmental Behavior of Air Quality Questionnaire》. We getthe research results through exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysisand stepwise regression analysis by using SPSS19.0and Amos21.0. Risk factoranalysis results showed that the structure of public risk perception questionnaire isgood in four dimensions. They are responsibility of risk perception, sources of riskperception, perception of risk events and the consequences of risk perception. Riskfactor analysis results also showed that the structure of environmental protectionbehavior is good in two dimensions. They are practical actions and thought action.Regression analysis results showed that the public risk perception can predict theirenvironmental protection behavior. The “sources of risk perception” and “perceptionof risk events” in the public risk perception’s level questionnaire can predict "PracticalAction" in the Public protect the environmental behavior of air quality questionnaire,besides, the “sources of risk perception” to explain the criterion variable variance isfar higher than “perception of risk events”. While”responsibility of risk perception”,“perception of risk events” and” the consequences of risk perception” aresignificantly predict “the thought action” in the environmental protection behaviorsuccessively.
