After entering the21st century, the generation after “80’s”,not only become a uniquesocial phenomenon, but also forming a unique cultural phenomenon. the generationafter “80’s” is an important producer of contemporary popular culture and behavior.In a sense, TV plays is indispensable to presents more intuitively and vividly thesocial changes, misunderstanding, and expectation from the research of “80’s”, the“80’s” also presents complex kind of business, the power behind this culturalphenomenon. Images of “80’s” are rich and colorful in the TV series, can be dividedinto three categories: striver’s images of pursuing independence, individuality; rebels’images among traditional culture and modern conflict; sinkers’ images between desireand ideal. TV images of80’s show the distinctive personality, enrich the imagespectrum of80’s; At the same time, the image shows the spirit of The Times ofmulti-culture collision, mapping cultural change, conveying the positive energy of life.We also found that the TV images of “80’s” exist exaggerate images of “80’s”;misusing, abusing motivational legend; curing images of “80’s”, sheltering thestory of migrant workers; the deviation of material consumption and money desire,we need to consider and reflection seriously to TV images of “80’s”.Rather than simply to present images of “the communicated person", we need tothink about the media literacy under the TV images of “80’s”, to reflect more aboutcultural capital, business spending and profound social issues. Therefore, the TVimages of “80’s” not only can help us understanding the unique social phenomenonand cultural phenomenon of the “80’s”, but also can provide an unique value oftheory and reality.
