The object of this paper is the Contrary-Order Synonym of the ContemporaryChinese Dictionary6th.This paper will analysis of the Contemporary ChinesePictionary6th, inspect the characteristics of this part words. I will try my best tocontribute to the study of the Contemporary Chinese Pictionary.Firstly, the paper introduces the reasons and the meaning of choosing the topic,reviews the research status of this subject, explains the research methods, the corpussource and structural arrangements.Secondly, because of the differences of definition the Contrary-Order Synonymin the academia, we must start to define this word from” ordersynonym”,”synonyms”,”word”, and then give the definition of this word. Andsummarizing the total amount of the Contrary-Order Synonym in the ContemporaryChinese Pictionary6th, I will analysis the internal structure and the speech type.Thirdly, according to using the Peking University Corpus, analyzing the usingfrequency of the single meaning word and the polysemic of the Contrary-OrderSynonym word and then I will analyze the reason of the using frequency in terms ofthe morpheme, the voice, the semantic and others.Fourthly, I will discuss the formation of Contrary-Order Synonym from fouraspects, that is the upside down the word order to construct new words, fitting therequirement of writing style, the flexibility of the word order and the influence ofdialect. And then, contrasting the Contemporary Chinese Pictionary6thand theContemporary Chinese Pictionary2002, I will analyze the development of theContrary-Order Synonym from the new and cutting words. And, on the basis of theabove analysis, I will discuss the specification of the Contrary-Order Synonym.Finally, there is a summary and some inadequacies of this paper.
