Eco-translatology is widely applied in the practical translation area, and it has alsobeen introduced to the study of tourism translation by the previous scholars. TheTranslation of tourism websites is a systematic and multi-dimensional study, which issimilar to the study of translational eco-system. However, only a few of the studies focuson tourism websites translation, although the translation and construction of Englishtourism websites play a crucial role in the development of tourism industry, the spread ofChinese culture, and the enhancement of China’s international impact. This thesis chosetourism websites as the research objects and discussed the current situation of tourismwebsites translation by quantitative analysis. Based on the theory of Eco-translatology, thispaper analyzed the current problems existing in the C-E translation of China’s tourismwebsites in terms of linguistics, culture and communicative function, such as grammar,wrong spelling, meaningless indication, cultural gap, consumers’ experiences, etc., andthen discussed the possible strategies which could be adopted in tourism websitestranslation at the micro, meso and macro level, The translation strategies summarized inthis thesis include multi-dimensional transplantation, enhancing the impact of translation inthe improvement of consumers’ experiences, selection and adaptation in tourismtranslation, Adaptation to the market ecosystem, Adaptation to the new-media environment,etc., which would be regarded as a supplementary for the further study of the application ofEco-Translatology on tourism translation, and a reference for the teaching of tourismtranslation.
