This thesis regards the famous Japanese anime “ONE PIECE” as the researchobject, aiming at discussing the violent elements in “ONE PIECE”. First of all,combined with the concrete anime “ONE PIECE”, On one hand this paperdistinguish the difference among the three concepts that are “violence”,“theelements of the violence” and the “violent animation”, on the other hand this articleis point of penetration with the “shots” to analyze that how does the “ONEPIECE” to express the violent elements and summarize the ways of the violentexpression as the real and exaggerated expression、the enjoyable and artistic expression、the joking and entertained expression. Then, based on the semiotics theory of“unlimited semiosis” that claimed by Peirce, this work reveal that behind the violentelements there is the Japanese Culture. In other words, the violent elements in ONEPIECE have relations with the Japanese Culture.To sum up, according to the all-sided and in-depth analysis, I finally claim that weshould do some special processing when we take advantage of the violent elements toexpress our thought or culture in our animations and I further put forward the proposalabout how to deal with the violence element at the end of this paper.
